Merged Obama birth certificate CT / SSN CT / Birther discussion Part II

Two questions

How many students attended Columbia at that time and how many were in the PS program?

A few years ago I ran into a guy who was one year behind me in the archaeology program of our college, neither of us remembered the other but we did remember a few of the faculty and one or two of the more attractive female students (that was 40 years ago)

I do or have adjuncted at several local colleges. I got to wondering why I rarely seem to see my former students in the paper on the Weddings page or the like. So I dug out some old grade books with the names of students in classes I taught 10-15 years ago. Many of the names I didn't even vaguely recognize. If the names appear in the paper, it's likely that they don't even ring a bell to me. Of course, I can't speak for other professors, but my "student name data storage" capacity is definitely limited.

Why do you credulously accept his "word" for it?...it couldn't have anything to do with your irrational anti-Obama bias, could it?

No. I just think his entire life is a lie as is the corrup-to-crat regime he presides over. Nothing irrational about that.

Pheh, every time I look over the members of my College class' Facebook page my first reaction is 'Who are these people?!'

Someone had to remind me that my next door neighbor, Jon, my Junior year was actually H. Jon Benjamin (I always wondered why Archer's voice sounded so familiar).

And the Fogbow link posted by KDLarson takes Bobby's psycho-partisan claims and beats them to death in a dark alley.

I disagree on every point here. Especially on the last part, because this belief is highly irrational.

I thought this was the highly amusing Birther thread.

[meme]Yo dawg, I heard you like Birther threads so I put a Birther thread in your Birther thread so you can be amused while you're amused.[/meme]

Well, both in this thread and in your voter-scam thread you let slip your deep and abiding dislike for Obama on political grounds. So we're left with the chicken-and-egg problem of determining whether your belief regarding Obama arose from your careful study of his life and career, or whether your arguments against Obama are merely an expression of predetermined belief.

Since your sources you cite and copy your lines of reasoning from are universally the most rabidly conservative sources that exist, it's not hard to resolve that dilemma. You steep yourself in radical conservative rhetoric and then simply repeat it here.

That is irrational, especially when you demonstrate your characteristic inability or unwillingness to address informed criticism of your belief.

Pretty deep if 43 was in on it, too. Not to mention all of the current republicans in congress who approved the current surveillance year after year.

Hell, when it was Bush that wanted to do the surveillance, most Republicans were all for it and accused anyone with reservations about it of being an America-hating terrorist-lover. Now that Obama's administration is continuing the program, some (not all) of them think it's a frightening intrusion on privacy. I'm more inclined to agree with their current position, but I felt the same way when Bush was doing it. It's almost as if some Republicans never considered the possibility that there guy wouldn't always be President.

Obama will leave the Presidential office for good in January 2017 and you can take that to the bank. But not before, no matter what stupidity people like Wayne Allen Root believe.

These weird, conspiracy-believing birthers need some serious help; some seem to have an aversion to melanin, some an aversion to Democrats in general, some are so far down the rabbit hole of conspiralunacy that there is no real telling what exactly their problem is with the democratically elected President.

In all cases, they are so blinded by their hatred that they will manufacture impossible conspiracies out of nothing, and they waste their lives trying to overturn two elections through the courts, when the law and the constitution they claim to worship is clear that this is a power reserved to congress. Congress will only act if there is evidence, and the real evidence shows that President Obama was born in Hawai'i in 1961 which makes him a natural born citizen and over 35. He has provably lived in the USA for the requisite amount of time and therefore satisfies the three tests to be eligible for the presidency. Nothing else matters as those are the only three things which qualify or disqualify a person from standing for election as the POTUS. There is nothing which disqualifies him, even if any of the birthers' mad conspiracy theories were correct (which they are not).

Birthers and those who oppose the president on spurious and manufactured conspiracy theories surrounding his college years or his (perfectly legal) SSN are nothing but irrational, deluded losers. They need to get over it, and if they want a Republican president they will have a chance to vote for one in 2016. There is no other mechanism, nor should there be because democracy sometimes means the person you voted for does not win. Tough.

Indeed, Agatha. It's exactly that that makes me wonder where Robert gets the idea that Obama's leadership is fake.

.. But wait, it gets better. Apparently the Cold Cuts Posse is now working on the theory that Obama is actually Saudi, that he "didn't exist" in the US until age 5, and that Russia was involved in making sure he was made president.

In other words, they've completely jumped the shark. Of course, this wasn't actually meant to be public, but one of those constitutional sheriff's went and wet himself all over Facebook out of sheer excitement. He subsequently removed the reveal, but as we all know, the interwebs doesn't forget that easily...
