Cuticles?
I know what you meant. And I think you are better than that. Some of those letters are correct.
But that's not what's going on--and it's not the point I was making. Sylvia Browne's supporters are trying to claim a hit with her near-miss on the description of the perp. But she wasn't describing a kidnapper; she was describing a murderer. It's not a matter of semantics. In fact, I doubt she used either the word "kidnapper" or "murderer" (or "killer") on that infamous Montel show reading.
Her supporters who would claim a "hit" are ignoring a discrepancy between her reading and reality, not merely a discrepancy in semantics.
That's French, desertgal.
Comprendez-vous. Do you understand.
Is that an example of the No True God fallacy?
I would answer, but I am fearful you will think I am attempting to CRAM my beliefs down your throat.

Now, back to Sylvia Browne...
Geez.Maybe it's French in Paris, Texas, carlitos.![]()
Which god is she referring to? It surely can't be this one, right...?
At long last i find the kernel to your problem, For you John never misses and no matter how much effort posters here put into illustrating the obvious con game he's pulling it is to no avail.
Thanks, but the point is performing parlour tricks doesn’t prove a communication with dead people and I can’t think of a single reason why believers think it does (other than they want it to).
Not inclined to agree with you there...no true medium would ever participate in Randi's challenge.
Most of my "Top ten reasons why JE won't participate in the million dollar challenge" can be applied to other real mediums as well.
Yup.As several self deluded self proclaimed psychics like Patricia Putt have. It's only the ones who know perfectly well that they are frauds, like Browne and Edward, who make pathetic excuses to avoid doing so.
You're an ex-psychic?? You mean you truly believed you had psychic ability at one time and then later on realized you didn't? Why did you think you had the ability? What could you do? Can you give an example? What made you realize you didn't have the ability? How long in between was that? Could I possibly ask any more questions?Well, apart from the fact she accepted the challenge, and has just failed to follow through, there are mediums who have already participated in the challenge ... though I suspect the definition of 'true' may be debated. I'm not the only ex-psychic who came to this forum, for example, intending to try the challenge.
Yup.
But the really sad and WRONG! thing is that many people will continue to believeBrowneanyone has psychic abilities.

And I totally understand if you don't want to answer any of the questions!!
I just find it really interesting.
It is not against the law to lie to grieving family members.
