Merged The Origin of Two Different Colors of WTC Dust

So basically every time you have mentioned that there is DNA, human DNA in
he dust you have just been pulling our leg?

No. I've told you that I detected DNA in the dust. I've told you why I think it is human DNA (because it did not partition equally between the two main types of WTC dust).

What I'm telling you now and the take home message that I hope you are left with is that the study isn't over. I've done some tests that were easy to do.

The results might or might not change. The results I have now are so basic that it would be hard to imagine how sophisticated tests would cause me to change them.

For example, someone suggested I obtain equipment that measures the strength of the magnetic force. I could do that. I might do that. But it's not going to change the fact that I am able to move a magnet with a chunk of WTC dust. It's not going to change the fact that different researchers use magnets to isolate the iron fragments that are found in the WTC dust.

It also won't change the microscopy images. In them, you see iron fragments. Not iron droplets. Sharp edged iron fragments. In addition to being confirmation that there is an previously undereported level of iron in the WTC dust, it explains why the dust plopped down as a foam. Because the iron fragments are not allowing the material to compact efficiently. Air pockets are formed as a result of the jaggedness of the iron fragments.

It has been suggested that I perform chemical elemental analysis on the dust, and I certainly plan to do this. But my new knowledge is going to allow this analysis to proceed in a sophisticated manner, because I know that there are two types of dust instead of one. The currently published data on the contents of the WTC dust is all over the place. Little bits of this and that and everything. No coherent explanation. A chemical elemental analysis such as I would design would clear some of this up.

But nothing is likely to change the ridiculous amount of iron in the dust, and it isn't going away. If it takes me ten more years to find a way to do these studies, no matter. The iron isn't going anywhere.

Which you have failed to show is in any way material to your contention that planes did not strike the WTC.

It's because there is no relationship with my high iron findings and an airplane. Whether or not an airplane struck the towers, the WTC dust samples are full of iron fragments. I do not study airplanes, and would never comment on them, except other people constantly bring it up.

Translation:

You ignore the planes because they do not fit your fantasy.

You said proving the dust came from the WTC is expensive and you have not done so. It's not as I wish; you said you didn't prove it came from the WTC. That's what you wrote. You convincing yourself (though why you as a "scientist" would even bring that up is beyond me) and the dust actually being from the WTC are not the same thing.

Of course, you already know that scientists never prove things. They only disprove things.

There is a casual notion that I might be able to "prove" something with science work, but that really corresponds more to the idea that I might "lend support to the idea" or "rule out competing theories", but prove something? No. Can't do it. Won't try. I'm testing out some ideas on JREF, not proving anything, and I'm not planning to prove anything any time soon in any forum. I'd need lots more money to attempt that.

Correction: Plane crashes do not produce the type of material that I found in a little nook 200 feet from Ground Zero.

You have not and can not prove the pile of crap you scraped up at that location came from the WTC... where planes did crash.

If I DNA matched a half dozen WTC 2 victim's DNA in the dust, would that be sufficient evidence for you that the samples are bona fide WTC dust?

Yes but you are getting ahead of yourself here. You have not shown that any of the DNA is human, let alone that it came from the WTC.

True, true, but that wasn't the question.

If I did match the DNA to WTC 2 victims, would that be sufficient proof for you that the samples are genuine?

I said yes it would, but you've reached that conclusion without any evidence. Do you see that?

Not true. The DNA didn't partition equally between the two types of dust.

So? Maybe microbes prefer one type of dust over the other. Or maybe you only have one type of dust and some of it got wet.

Doc, you go on and on about the DNA, but every time we ask how you know there is DNA, you sidestep the question.

We understand you haven't been able to afford a more sophisticated DNA test on your samples and have instead used some other homegrown testing, but PLEASE, PLEASE, just this once, would you tell us...

HOW DID YOU TEST FOR DNA?

Please?

So what? Your explaination of darker/lighter dust and victims is bogus. It's been pointed out to you COUNTLESS times that the darker "dust" was smoke and ash and the lighter dust; concrete and wallboard.

I'm keeping some secrets.

None of those things explains the iron fragments.

I'm keeping some secrets.

No.

Just... NO.

That is a huge gigantic fail on your part and is, in my opinion, the end of your credibility on this or any other matter you wish to discuss here.

Too harsh? Ok... try again and I'll take it all back.

I didn't mention iron fragments.

I'm asking why the perimeter and the core would produce different colors of "dust/fumes," and why you refuse to acknowledge what you point to in your avatar is smoke and ash.

Sorry, but her credibility was gone long ago. ;)

It's not.
