Well that may not be true but all of the people who didn't vote for Obama definitely are!

Anyway, in all seriousness, there obviously are many people who didn't vote for Obama simply because they are racist. Of course it's not all of the people that didn't vote for him! Some people say something is an absolute for effect, just because the reality is almost as bad.

And if you don't even believe the former then I have a bridge to sell you. (Really it's not much different than someone not voting for him just because he is Democratic... Though it is much more socially unacceptable to be "out" as a racist than as a specific party member!)

Likewise there are many people who are pro-Z simply because they are racist.

There are several ways to tell, several lines of reasoning they use that give us a hint. Quite often they don't even know it when they type it either! But sometimes they see it afterwards...

Earlier today I was arguing with a pro-Z (not here) who insisted he wasn't racist prior, and labeled "those on the left" as race-baters.

Today, he stated 100% of the felonies in Atlanta are committed by "negroes." (his words) Every single one.

I asked if he agreed with the cop who was just fired for his comments on the Trayvon Martin case - that black people "should be drowned at birth."

He applauded the cop and said we need more people to "speak the truth."

It has been my opinion that many on the 'pro-Z' side actually are better at making the 'pro-TM' case than actual 'pro-TM'ers.'

They are their own worst enemy, and yes, they eventually out themselves, full bore.

I wonder how a reporter would be able to write an article about a confidential court filing filed under seal... Hmmm...

Natalie Jackson ‏@NatJackEsq 3m
@ModarresLaw Probably same way inadmissible hearsay & W's who's ID & info r confidential court filing under seal have made it to the blogs.

This is curious. I really despise the skanks at the CTH, and it's known these are/were O'Mara's "internet trolls" BDLR referred to in the last State response (and who O'Mara had to slap in a GZLegal post about doxing and harassing witnesses... )

Anyway, that sundancecracker dude who runs the site seems to be privy to the information that it was on O’Mara’s advice to the HOA to settle (and a major conflict of interest).

How he knows this, and he seems certain, I don't know, but they appear pretty ticked off about it.

And of course, it undermines Z's criminal case, if true.

This is one that will be interesting to see play out, or fall apart.

It really was inevitable that RT used the CTH as a source after raling against them for hundreds of pages. Truth requires it.

I see now he claims it as "insider information."

"its insider information.

However, common sense would tell you there is no reason for Mark O’Mara to know specific details of the settlement if he were not a party to the agreement.

Nor would Benjamin Crump give him a copy of the agreement and court filing if O’Mara were not a party to it.

Both of which are facts and contained in the media reports.

If O’Mara were not advising the HOA/Ins. Co. he would not even know of the details about it – and he definately would not be given a copy of the agreement, it would all be happening well outside his circle of influence. He can only be a party on one side or the other and I doubt you would think O’Mara is representing the interests of the Scheme Team…." LINK

Hmm. I don't know, but I wonder who his insider is.

lol. They are skanks through and through. Skanks with a connection to the skanks who are lionizing the alleged murderer and defending his weak criminal case.

That they may have information about something and I query it doesn't mean I think they are any less skanky dirtbags.

That you would think otherwise is really weird.

I know you love it there though.

Zeig Heil! (Is that the proper way to greet you guys?) So, what you doing for Hitler's birthday? Made any plans yet? You know, other than getting ready for the upcoming race war?

Wow, this is getting beyond ridiculous.

From the definitions I posted, it's an accurate description.

What is racist about it ?

It is not accurate. Martin is from the suburbs not the inner city.

I'm not saying it's not... but what specifically is racist about it?

It's a negative stereotype divorced from reality.

If the assumption wasn't made because Martin is black, then why was it made?

It is not accurate. Martin is from the suburbs not the inner city.

He is from the CITY of Miami Gardens. Which may or may not be technically a suburb of Miami.

So yes, it is accurate.

It's a negative stereotype divorced from reality.

It's a description that was accurately used in the context of a comparison. It's not like I just willy-nilly started referring to him as "an inner city youth" a few hundred pages into this thread.

At the worst, I was ignorant of where specifically Miami Gardens was in relation to Miami. It was however, not a racist comment.

If the assumption wasn't made because Martin is black, then why was it made?

What assumption ?

"Miami Gardens is a suburban Miami city".

Unabogie,

Can you answer my questions so we can move on ? Unless the goal is to get the thread moderated by baiting me by implying I am a racist and stirring everyone up by turning everything into a race issue ? Because if that's the goal, it seems to be working.

And I never claimed you did. You have a difficult time reading fro content.
Except that I didn't say anything racist.
Witness 8 is a proven liar. The youtube video you linked to - that guy isn't a witness.
I'm really not sure who else you are referring to, so please spell it out for me - be specific.I believe it about as much as you believe GZ was.
Because I don't know who says "homie" these days?
Simply not true
And you bend everything he does, including not updating the address on his DL into proof he murdered someone.
I do ? Really ? What leads you to that conclusion ?Which action was that - be specific. Calling TM an "inner city youth" ? Is that not true ?

It's the subtext that makes it even more bizarre. They think she's not really who she says she is, which is why they think this is damning.
"How could she be his childhood friend but not know how to spell his name? She must be an impostor!"
It reminds me of the birthers.

Who is THEY ? I certainly didn't claim "She must be an impostor!"

He is from the CITY of Miami Gardens.

So anyone under the age of 18 from what can be defined as a "city" is an "inner city youth"?

Which may or may not be technically a suburb of Miami.

It is a suburb of Miami. That is indisputable.

So yes, it is accurate.

No, it's not.

It's a description that was accurately used in the context of a comparison.

No, it wasn't. Martin wasn't from the inner city. He was from the suburbs.

It's not like I just willy-nilly started referring to him as "an inner city youth" a few hundred pages into this thread.

Apparently, you did since you inaccurately described from where Martin came.

At the worst, I was ignorant of where specifically Miami Gardens was in relation to Miami. It was however, not a racist comment.

It was ignorance about where Martin was actually from, coupled with an assumption that it must have been the inner city.

It's that last part where the racism comes in.

What assumption ?

That Trayvon Martin was an "inner city youth".

http://www.city-data.com/city/Miami-Gardens-Florida.html

Demographics. Inner City? Suburb? Good question.

Demographics don't decide what constitutes "inner city" and "suburb".

Geography does.

Martin wasn't from the inner city. He was from the suburbs.

According to City Rating, Miami Gardens crime statistics have decreased in the past 7 years. The crimes that have decreased the most are property crimes and violent crimes. The crime rate for Miami Gardens for 2012 is expected to be lower than in 2010. Miami Garden’s city violent crime rate was 138.67% higher than the national violent crime rate. City property crime rate was 66.98% higher than the national property crime rate.

In 2010 Miami Garden’s city violent crime rate was higher than the violent crime rate in Florida by 77.64% and the city property crime rate was 38.05% higher.

In 2010, there were 663 reported cases of aggravated assault, 12 reported cases of arson, 1,321 reported cases of burglary, 25 cases of forcible rape, 3,515 cases of larceny and theft, 574 reported cases of motor vehicle theft, 22 reported cases of murder and manslaughter and 351 cases of robbery.

The projected 2012 crime data is as follows: 253 reported cases of aggravated assault, 0 reported cases of arson, 1,760 reported cases of burglary, 6 cases reported of forcible rape, 3,535 cases reported of larceny and theft, 489 cases report of motor vehicle theft, 30 reported cases of murder and manslaughter and 357 reported cases of robbery.

If you ain't ever been to the suburbs, don't you ever come to the suburbs, 'cause you wouldn't understand the suburbs.

Thank you for this.

There are some simple basic steps to analyzing any case.

  • Gather the raw data and document the source.
  • Transcribe and index the data to make it searchable.
  • Cross reference the data to bring all the known facts about each item into one place.
  • Build working narratives that incorporate the known facts.
  • Try to refute the working narratives.
  • Use the narratives to try and identify missed sources of data (especially where there are differences between competing narratives).
  • Repeat above process with all new data, refine narratives.
  • Conclude what probably happened based on the data available. (if multiple incompatible naratives are standing, the result is inconclusive).

These steps are highly distributable which means that a group of people working together on this process will be many times more productive than the individuals working alone. But I've found there are very few cooperative efforts. Why is that? Do people enjoy wasting their time repeating the same tasks? Is it because the initial narratives will inevatably be wrong and people are so afraid of being wrong? Yet many jump straight to a conclusion and then lock themselves into defending that conclusion even with overwhelming evidence that they are wrong.

I guess I struck a nerve. Let's talk about other people from large cities whose parents are divorced.

Suri Cruise - Link

Karenna Gore - Link

Ron Reagan - Link

I've listed three kids above who are from big cities and have divorced parents, yet no one would describe any of them as "inner city youths from dysfunctional families". So what did TheL8Elvis mean? He meant "they don't have much in common with black kids".

Let's remember what started this all. TheL8Elvis said:

My son, his friends. And I agree, they don't say homie. They don't have fake gold teeth, they don't get suspended from school, they don't smoke dope ... they don't have much in common with an inner city youth from a dysfunctional home, so I am not sure whether they say homie or not is important.

See? His kids probably know LOTS of kids whose parents have been divorced. We all do. (for that matter, half the kids in school smoke dope so they know plenty of those kids too). Yet no one describes their families as "dysfunctional" because of it. In fact, I'd say that Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton have a pretty amicable relationship because they stuck together through this horrible ordeal. In fact, they're the opposite of dysfunctional. They just got divorced. But to TheL8Elvis, being from divorced parents, from the suburbs, makes you an "inner city youth from a dysfunctional family" if you have some certain OTHER attribute that we can't mention in polite company.

And I'll leave it there because anyone who doesn't get that, never will.

ETA: I will add one more thing after all. If anyone here was from a dysfunctional family, it was George. He wasn't on speaking terms with members of his family and was accused of the rape of a cousin. That's what I call dysfunctional.

ETA2: And before someone chimes in and says "inner city is because of high crime". Let's remember that George's whole defense is that RTL is a "high crime" community which is why he needed to take up arms as the sheriff neighborhood watch captain. So George was from a high crime suburb, from a dysfunctional family, with a checkered past. Is George Zimmerman an "inner city youth"?
