Continuation: Discussion of the George Zimmerman case

It should be marked the second tape in that format.

ETA: https://www.txantimedia.com/?p=996

Are you talking about this line?

Zimmerman: No, ma’am. I lost contact of him as I was trying to get through cause you have to…

Because he's talking about the victim he killed, not the dispatcher.

Singleton: OK, you pass him and this is where he’s looking in the houses, OK. And then…where do you go when you realize…you said he comes and he circles your car?
Zimmerman: No, ma’am. I lost contact of him as I was trying to get through cause you have to…
Singleton: So does he continue past you?

The only thing that comes close is this:

Singleton: OK, when does he come…you’re still, you’re still in the car talking to 911, right?
Zimmerman: I’m trying to get through, yes ma’am.

Which is hilarious, because he's said over and over that when he did get through, he was at the clubhouse. You know why this is so confusing and why his story doesn't make sense?

Because he's full of **** and made stuff up to cover the fact that he killed someone for no reason.

But please proceed. Tell me where he claims to have made the call from somewhere other than the clubhouse.

Oh, I don't know.
Clearly.
What an "inner city youth"? Give me your definition.

Why in the world would you think I have my own definition ? Don't you know what it means ?

inner city
n.
The usually older, central part of a city, especially when characterized by crowded neighborhoods in which low-income, often minority groups predominate.

youth
n.
A young person, especially a young male in late adolescence.

It's the subtext that makes it even more bizarre. They think she's not really who she says she is, which is why they think this is damning.

"How could she be his childhood friend but not know how to spell his name? She must be an impostor!"

It reminds me of the birthers.

Who is this "they" ?

If you think it's reasonable that she has been his friend since kindergarten but can't spell his name, then that's what you believe.

I find it curious. Not because I think she is an impostor, but because she or crump is simply full of lies, and that is one of them.

Remind me again who lied about her age - her or crump, and why ?

And which part of Miami were the Martins from?

By the way, can you weigh in on the issue with the "circling" of the car? I think we've completely debunked it.

We have on this call a good gauge for how long it takes to walk. When George says "**** he's running" and exits his car, there's no way possible that Trayvon could have been by the T and back again. Unless you buy the ludicrous idea that George didn't actually call from the clubhouse when he repeatedly claimed he did, don't you agree that it's physically impossible for Trayvon to have circled his car from behind the row houses?

So it's not possible they were simply mistaken, yet George doesn't know the name of his street, even though he was NW captain and doesn't need to to adhere to the NW rules he was given by the SPD. You don't know that anyone lied. You just take everything they say as suspect and fail to apply the same standard to the killer. Anyway, please jump in on the "circling the car" issue?

And I never claimed you did. You have a difficult time reading fro content.

Except that I didn't say anything racist.

Witness 8 is a proven liar. The youtube video you linked to - that guy isn't a witness.

I'm really not sure who else you are referring to, so please spell it out for me - be specific.
I believe it about as much as you believe GZ was.

Because I don't know who says "homie" these days?

Simply not true

And you bend everything he does, including not updating the address on his DL into proof he murdered someone.

I do ? Really ? What leads you to that conclusion ?
Which action was that - be specific. Calling TM an "inner city youth" ? Is that not true ?

And which part of Miami were the Martins from?

Miami Gardens

Please answer the hilited questions.

Are you talking about this line?

I'll give you the whole quote since you're not satisfied with my transcript that I already provided you, or you won't take the ~3 1/2 minutes to actually listen to it yourself.

Singleton: OK. And then where do you go from there? This is where you start, when do you start calling the police, where are you?Zimmerman: I pulled in front of the clubhouse.Singleton: OK, did you pass him?
Zimmerman: Yes, ma’am.
Singleton: OK, so he was here and you passed him and went over here.
Zimmerman: Yes, ma’am.
Singleton: OK, put an “x” there that that’s where he…ah, just, ah, put “911” that that’s where you were when you called 911.
Zimmerman: Well, it was the non-emergency line.
Singleton: OK. Well, what…that’s where you called the police, right?Zimmerman: Yes, ma’am.
Singleton: OK, and then he’s behind you? He’s still over here, correct…
Zimmerman: I…
Singleton: Cause you pass him
Zimmerman: Right.
Singleton: OK, you pass him and this is where he’s looking in the houses, OK. And then…where do you go when you realize…you said he comes and he circles your car?
Zimmerman: No, ma’am. I lost contact of him as I was trying to get through cause you have to…Singleton: So does he continue past you?
Zimmerman: Yes, ma’am.
Singleton: OK. So he continues past you and you lose sight of him over here.
Zimmerman: Yes, ma’am.
Singleton: OK, so just draw an arrow where he continues to pass you.
Zimmerman: He continues to pass me through here…and then he goes down here. You want me to (unintelligible)…
Singleton: And then he goes somewhere here where you can’t see him.
Zimmerman: Correct.
Singleton: So just go to about where he, where you think he might have been be.., to where you lose sight of him.
Zimmerman: He started going here and then behind these houses.
Singleton: OK. And you could see that from here?
Zimmerman: Yes, ma’am.
Singleton: And then when he gets behind the houses you lose sight.
Zimmerman: Yes, ma’am.
Singleton: OK. And you said this, this….at some point he comes back and circles your car? Has he already done that?

He loses contact with TM "as he's trying to get through" to NEN, at the clubhouse, because TM went around the corner, past him, on the way to the T entrance.

Pay attention to this last part:

Zimmerman: He looked into my vehicle…Singleton: OK.
Zimmerman: But he didn’t circle it at that point in time.Singleton: OK, when does he come…you’re still, you’re still in the car talking to 911, right?Zimmerman: I’m trying to get through, yes ma’am.

TM looked into GZ's vehicle as he passes GZ while GZ is at the clubhouse; GZ has stated this in multiple interviews. He's stating here, "at that point in time" (when he was at the clubhouse), this is NOT where TM circles his vehicle. But he says "at that point in time" he was still trying to get through to "911", and thus not yet connected.

Anyway, nothing here suggests GZ "started calling" the NEN at Taaffe's house. He only mentions "starting to call" at the clubhouse. He also mentions, multiple times, that he was "trying to get through". He could not have been "trying to get through" prior to reaching the clubhouse since it wasn't until he reached the clubhouse that he first "started calling" the police.

Yet you ignore the evidence of all the other calls he had trouble with street names and directions.

You don't know that anyone lied. You just take everything they say as suspect and fail to apply the same standard to the killer.

Yes we do. We know witness 8 lied about the hospital.

Crump repeatedly referred to her as a minor. She just turned 19. So that's a LIE.

And again, you didn't answer the hilited questions.

You're absolutely delusional. There's nothing in that at all that says he failed to get through, was disconnected, or didn't conduct that call as he was parked at the clubhouse. I'll stop here, because you're incapable of admitting you're wrong. It's a little bit hilarious.

Projecting much? Please show me all the times in this thread where you've admitted you were wrong. I know of at least one time, actually two times, where I can show where I have done so.

ETA: Also, it's obvious he didn't "conduct that call" exclusively while at the clubhouse. We only know that that is where he made his initial attempt to call them, but he did not get through immediately. Perhaps there is some sort of documentation to show how long GZ was either in queue, or how many times he had to call before getting through.

M's parents settling with the HOA is the Top Story at the top of Google News right now.

It includes this apt, but controversial HuffPo article:

No Country for 'Black Teens'

But this belief -- that male "black teens" are inherently more likely to be criminals -- is ingrained in our society. It has seeped into our institutions in the form of racial profiling, and too often it poisons the judgment of those who are supposed to protect us.

It is an absolutely sick, and very often improper, use of statistics.

And when cops use it it becomes a self-fulfilling prophesy and a re-enforcing cycle.

This quote makes it quite clear that the supposed circling happened after Z contacted, and communicated with, a dispatcher:

Here is his first interview with Singleton. There's nothing in here about not getting through or getting disconnected.

https://www.txantimedia.com/?p=987

Zimmerman: Um, I called the non emergency line and I just reported that there was a suspicious person in the neighborhood. Um, the dispatcher, whoever answered the phone asked me where they went and I said I wasn’t sure because I lost visual of him when he went in between houses. And, uh, he said well can you tell me what direction he went. I said not really. Um, and then all of a sudden I see him circling my car. And, and then he goes back into the darkness. So..
Singleton: unintelligible. You pull out of your house…and you’re heading..

Wow, this is getting beyond ridiculous.

Agreed.

Reminds me of this quote:

"Anyone who believes the defendant is innocent is a racist and anyone who contributes money to his defense is a stupid racist." That's from Frederick Leatherman, who many of those on the anti-GZ side of things hold in the highest regard.

ETA: If you remember that poster "CherokeeNative", who came here and posted like 4 long, rambling anti-GZ statements, she actually is admin of a forum called CrimeWatchers, and the above quote is actually in her signature there. It's an idea embraced by many on the anti-GZ side of things.

But regardless of who is credited with that quote, it's obviously the sentiment of many of those on the anti-GZ side of things, as far as how they view those who believe GZ's killing of TM was legal by way of self-defense. It's sort of their starting point and the underlying mindset of all their arguments (that they're arguing with a racist).

In the NEN call, I hear noises like the car shifting into gear at about 97.51 seconds. This is while George is saying "these ********, they always get away". This would be George backing out from the clubhouse after Trayvon went around the corner and out of sight. The last definite time George sees Travon was at 80.96 seconds when George says: "yup, he's coming to check me out".

George needs to pull around the corner to regain sight of Trayvon and while he's taxing his brain with that task he's also trying to give the dispatcher instructions. After George pulls onto Twin Trees and drives past the mailboxes, he's expecting to see Trayvon but there are several directions in which he could have gone. He could have circled around the clubhouse, followed the path around the lake or headed east on Twin Trees. It takes George a moment to recognize what he's seeing, probably in the streetlight at the next corner and thus the long drawn sss in "****, he's running" at 126.93 seconds.

Someone can check if the timing works for Trayvon to run from the clubhouse to the end of the block in less than (126.93-80.96) = 45.97 seconds.

George rushes to the corner and parks on the wrong side of the road (shifting noises heard at 129.44 seconds) and gets out of the truck (tones begins at 130.01 seconds, door closes at 134.09 seconds). And is running (wind noise at 140.93 seconds) into the dog walk area. George runs past an open window with a radio or TV playing (vocal noises at 155.68 seconds) and the intermittent wind noise finally stops (at 160.07 seconds) after George make the final "he ran" statement (at 157.74 seconds). How far could George run in (160.07 - 140.93) = 19.14 seconds?
Thank you for this.
