Merged No Planes At WTC (Split from: WTC Dust)

:-( Oh well. I guess my labs were not located at UT Houston Medical School. :-( I wonder where I was that whole time?

The building doesn't matter or do you really think it does? Are you saying the UT Houston Medical School does award PhDs despite that they say they don't? Who's right you or them?

On my resume, it's "University of Texas Houston Health Sciences Center".
Is that more satisfactory to you?

No. You can put whatever you want on your resume, it doesnt make it true. Since you have already mentioned your name how about showing us your diploma.

Approximately 0% of the WTC was on fire, if by "fire" you mean a traditional fire.

Dusty there are four (4) types of fires, all of which were likely present at the WTC, and 'traditional' isn't one of those types. How a chemist of any variety would fail to learn this is a profound mystery.

I smelled it, lots of people did. We get it.

The planes did not create the stench, this is silly. They were the catalyst for the whole chain of events.

I agree the smell was unfamiliar but I had never experienced planes crashing into fully occupied buildings that burned and collapsed.

How many people do you know who had any experience of that prior to 9/11?

Aha! Even you say it was an unfamiliar smell. Chalk that one up to the tally.

:-( It was a long time ago. They changed their names a bunch of times when I was there. What do you want from me? The place I went every day was UT Houston Medical School. Why does it matter that UT Houston Health Sciences Center issued my diploma? It's the same place. It's the same people.

Are you trying to get in something that looks like a chink in my armor, my carefully crafted story of my educational background?

We all smell collapsed burning buildings every day. Are you being serious? You cannot be a scientist, or else you are are scientist trolling for giggles.

For what purpose? It's in storage, anyway.

We all know that it is carefully(?) crafted.

It has always been called the University of Texas Medical School.

''The University of Texas Medical School at Houston has been blazing a course of excellence since it was established by the Texas Legislature on June 13, 1969. Three considerations led to the organization of the school: local, regional, and national shortages of physicians; the extraordinary, but until then underutilized, resources for medical education in Houston and the Texas Medical Center; and the large number of well-qualified candidates seeking entry to medical school.''

Storage?

Really? All my qualification records are in a folder, in a drawer. Easy to access if I need them, sometimes I have to use them to back up what I put on my resume.

Who the hell puts stuff like that in storage?

To be fair, neither my degree nor my PhD are much use to me in my current work, and it would take me some time to lay my hands on them oh no wait here they are in a folder on the bookshelf,

I have to admit, my degree certificate is in storage too. In the filing cabinet in our spare room.

It's not the same place. While I don't doubt that you do have a PhD, the fact that you don't use the correct name of the school who awarded you the degree shows sloppiness with simple easily verifiable but pertinant facts. BTW: It would be UT-Graduate School Of Biomedical Sciences At Houston
