Which is even less likely than being shot by a criminal. Also, strict gun control measures would make shootings even more "insignificant."
Just like they are in Mexico, right?
If we had stricter controls here, then Mexico would not have as many guns.
********, our government would be happy to supply them regardless of controls.
CT forum is that way ------------------------------->
Wikipedia is this way: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ATF_gunwalking_scandal
But nice try--when you can't stand behind your arguments, simply attack your opponent. Is that something you teach kids while teaching them how to break arms?
The premise that the government provides guns to Mexico so that there will be more violence is nothing but a conspiracy theory.
Why are you inventing my premises? Can't stand behind your own?
Uhm.. you are stating right here that our US Government is happy to supply criminals in Mexico firearms. Your statement is nonsense and belongs in the CT forum.
They lost track in a sting operation doesn't mean that "they are happy to give guns to Mexicans."
Mexican cartels have been using an increasing amount of military ordinance and automatic rifles--where do you think they all came from? Huh? huh?
Criminals that steal them.
From where?
Anywhere that they can.
You seem so sure that gun control in the US will stop the violence in Mexico, but you don't know where the guns are coming from. Duly noted.
I didn't claim that it would stop the violence in Mexico. However, if there were fewer guns available in the USA, then there wouldn't be so many exported from the USA to Mexico.
Well duh, but now you're changing your premise. You stated, "If we had stricter controls here, then Mexico would not have as many guns."
