How would they fake that and what do fake chimp movements look like?
Cant help but think that those Infrared images were CGI

it was
if you look at the last scene of the infrared scene
you will notice the way they move
they added those scenes just to make the documentary entertaining

It's a shame none of the thermal shots are real. You can see they are just animations if you watch closely.

if you check at 3 : 34 through 3 : 38 you'll see that those weren't real chimps being filmed with infrared !!!!!!!!
look at the monkey at the top left at 3:37 right near the end of that close up and you'll see a movement that is very similar to a video game character animation
also check at 3:37 the little monkey that gets "caught " looks very artificial -too bad

Haha that's so funny. When I started watching this I was wondering if they really had a helicopter with infared, and why it showed so clear through 100 ft high trees. Then I saw the weird animations you mentioned and figured it was fake lol. You're right it's too bad.

it's not Woo, it's true:
Yep, looks like CGI to me too, and the noise of an helicopter overflying the scene with a thermal camera would have been pretty disturbing for both hunters and preys IMO.I don't doubt that the chimps hunt that way. I just doubt that this was an actual movie of such a hunt.
I wasn't the only one to notice that the scene looked like CGI. Looking at it again, it pretty much has to be. Possibly none of the animals in the "infrared" scene are real, imo.
Occasionally when the CGI characters stop, their legs keep moving.
The famous "Looked like it" proof.

The famous, "Jump into the thread without reading and look foolish." bit...
Nicely done.
I have already posted, twice, in this very thread, that I have no proof.
Don't strain yourself reading my posts, though.
Do we now have to prove our opinions? If so, I predict that the number of postings will drop dramatically.

"Chimps are smart" isn't woo. The woo part was the anti-vax thing at the end - plus the "high school kids are slowly killing themselves with the poisonous food they eat."
