It's possible that aliens made the earth out of their own poo. That doesn't mean it's reasonable to conclude that they did.

Are you 100% certain that the documents are forged ? No ? Does that mean they are real ?

You do know that when your only answer to a very reasonable post, which you clearly didn't read or understand, is a quote from a Nazi, you have already lost the debate as well as any credibility you could have had in it ?

Pretty stupid conspiracy...given all of the gaps, the only record they bothered to fake was the birth certificate? Geesh. You'd have thunk they'd have had all the rest set to go. BTW... has Mitt, who isn't releasing taxes, released his kindergarten records yet. Does the fact that Mitt hasn't release taxes mean, verifiably, that he is an alien. I think it does and the fact that he hasn't relased theam pretty well proves it.

Not to mention the fact that many of the things in the list above that haven't been released... are never released or not at all in Obama's control.

It's not even a real quote. It's just something conspiracy theorists pass around and attribute to Hitler or Stalin or someone in order to insinuate that everyone who doesn't believe their twaddle has somehow fallen for some brilliant totalitarian propaganda scheme. Robert tried the same sort of thing in his other thread: everyone who disputed his regurgigoogled nonsense there was, in his mind, just being led around by the nose by government powermongers.

Now this is actually a pretty common conspiracist argument. As has been shown by Robert's thread-jumping, conspiracism isn't really about the individual conspiracy theories; it's about getting back at some powerful imagined enemy, usually government or people who can be connected somehow with political and social power. It seems to be a knee-jerk response, in most cases, to some feeling of disenfranchisement.

But because the real motivation behind these conspiracy arguments is "rage against the machine," conspiracists tend to project the converse of it on their critics -- i.e., they must "love the machine." Conspiracists don't generally figure out that most opposition to a conspiracy theory is to the theory, not the social construct the theory represents for the conspiracy believers. That is, most disputes are to the allegations of fact in the theory. And when a factual disputation is presented, the conspiracy theorist is very quickly in over his head and devolves to this sort of political rhetoric.
