What Angelina Imden said may be similar to what I understand of incorruptibility. The incorruptible corpses are not in a homemade crypt but in coffins in a room. According to Ama in a tape on 1996-12-29, there are 370 bodies in which the spirit resided, the first of which is that of Reneliniyindi. Of these, 97 have already been dug up by Angelina Imden.

Leaving aside the small problem of 'Angelina Imden' being non-existent as far as I can tell, digging up corpses and keeping them in the home would be quite serious offences here. Were all these corpses exhumed in England or abroad? If abroad, how did she get them into the country? I know our Border Agency comes in for a lot of criticism but I think they'd notice someone trying to import 97 dead bodies.

You remind us to be discerning, but when it comes to things Ka Apaz in the guise of Ama says, you seem to be prepared to believe any old nonsense.

Rincewind, it's done by mistakenly believing that prior to the 4th century CE, Jews used a purely lunar calendar. As this is not the case - they used a lunisolar calendar by adding an intercalary month before Nisan as necessary - PC's dates are contradicted by history.

Did you know that there are only three people in this world who while still alive were being eaten by maggots? They were King Herod the Great (who killed innocent children), Adolf Hitler (for starting World War II), and Mariano(?) Chico of Baliwag, Bulacan, Philippines. This happened to Chico because he charged exorbitant interest rate.

Demonstrably false. Besides what others have said about the intentional therapeutic use of larvae for wound debridement, infestations also occur unintentionally. If only three people in the history of mankind contracted it, I doubt the medical term Myiasis would have been coined or that it would be so easily found in medical and lay literature.

Now why would you make such a poorly thought-out claim?

Regarding incorruptibility, I did not bother to read other literature except what is in Wikipedia and other Internet sites. This is in conflict with what the late Marcial Aguila wrote. He said that there are 177 reincarnations. I do not know from where he heard this 177.

I have been to your Amazon link. I saw Joe Nickell, “the modern Sherlock Holmes”. He has written several books. If you know him, please ask him to investigate also Ka Apaz in the Philippines.

Regarding the coincidences in my life, I only learn about them after the incident. You know, it has been some time now that I have not encountered any coincidences. The coincidences may be related by Julian and Gregorian calendar and my maternal grandmother’s name and my mother’s name. Or the registration plate number of cars. Or all about Greek mythology.

Thank you for responding to my post so promptly; I know that there are many of us to question, while only you can provide us with these fascinating details which are so critical to our inquiry.

Unfortunately I am not acquainted with Joe Nickell. He has, however, investigated cases similar to that of the unlovely Ka Apaz, and has not yet found anyone who passes the smell test.

Now, I have highlighted the most important phrase in your post, because that is exactly why your coincidences are meaningless. You are using a technique called "retrofitting" in order to find profundities in utterly unconnected events. It is a bad habit of the credulous, and one that I hope you will break yourself of.

By the bye, I will bet you dollars to beignets that there are no coffins kept reverentially in a special room, no cunning lights that flash on and off like celestial traffic signals, and that Ms Imden, if indeed she exists at all and if so, under whatever name, has certainly not collected 97 deceased persons for her personal contemplation as if they were decorative thimbles or beanie babies. That would be most unseemly. And she obviously cannot have found the nonexistent corpse of the nonexistent Renelindielinorglyndi, nor even those of that esteemed lady's equally imaginary parents.

Finally, the fact that your sources disagree on the number of incarnations ought to tell you something, PeaceCrusader. Here is the true number:

Zero.

Ah - thank you, Agatha.

I probably should have remembered it from earlier in this thread, but sadly I kept losing the will to live....

I have here for your delectation an illustration of how absurd it is to assign significance to random numbers. Please note carefully the two characters at the bottom of the picture: They are both making an elementary mistake in reasoning which any skeptic here could have corrected for them (to wit, they should have ordered the veal).

Love the cartoon! Should it be "999 euros," or are you keeping it "francs" to follow the belle epoque tone of the illustration? :D

Gold Diggers of 1935

...He revealed that Jesus was born on May 23 and died on August 17. Just yesterday, I discovered that the year that I found based on the revealed dates seem to concur with what is on the Internet. So I don’t have to ignore everything that he said because of failed prophecies. I have to be selective.

PC, a failed prophecy means everything revealed by KA is a fraud.
PC, the only way your dating system has any constestency is to assume that Roman documents in Hispania were dated according to a lunar calendar. Is that something you have evidence for?

The Roman Empire was using Julian solar calendar with 365/366 per year implemented during the time of Julius Caesar. My contention is that the Spanish era was using a lunar calendar with 354/355 days per year.

PC, why pursue this train of thought?
KA is a false prophet.

I still accept that the prophecies failed. Those that are logically correct, or can be verified, could be accepted as truth if it is for the good of the soul. Those that do not, discard them as evil. We have to learn to be scrutinizing.

None of these pronouncements need to be verified. The woman is a false prophet. Why even spend time thinking about what she says?

The only evidence you have of this is what KA has said?
How have the other members of the group reacted to the utter failure of KA's predictions?

Peace Crusader, you realize your own bible tells you that if a prophecy fails, the person is a false prophet, right? You can't even remain consistent with you own mythology...

Absolute horse poop.

The giving of money to Ka Apaz is on a voluntary basis, or not at all. You know, if only Ka Apaz charges those she had healed, she could have amassed a fortune. But until now, at age 73, she is still poor.
It always comes to money doesn't it?

I think the Spanish era uses the purely lunar calendar. For example, the year 201 in the 3rd century of the Julian solar calendar is equivalent to year 239 in the Spanish era. To know what year 1 of the Spanish era is, it would be 32 BC. Jesus was born in 33 BC as per my determination based on Ama’s revelation of May 23.
Uh, no.

Why was the Spanish era abandoned in the 14th century AD? Because the Spaniards were using the Julian solar calendar whereas the Spanish era was using the purely lunar calendar.
Uh, no - again.

You say that Ka Apaz is just faking Ama so the prophecies did not happen. I would say that Ama gave the prophecies. Ama also revealed the May 23 birth of Jesus. He also gave the above expositions. If Ka Apaz is faking Ama, why would she give the May 23 date and make those extemporaneous expositions?
Let me get this straight, your prophet makes prophecies which don't come to pass and that's evidence your prophet is real?

You remember the hits but forget the misses.

I reminded of a time way back, when pick 6 type lotteries were new. They would televise the draw and numbered balls dropped from a spinning clear sphere.
The particular lottery in question was a pick 6 out of 49, prize $1.4 Mill and I had a ticket. I was also on a course in a distant town and living in a hotel for a those two weeks. Bored, I tuned in while holding my ticket.
First ball drops.... I have the number, hey neat!
Second ball drops,,,, I have that number, beauty!
Third number drops,,,, I have that number too, ,,,great I have won $10
Fourth number drops and again I have that number,,, HOLY $#&% 4 out of 4 so far,,, hit two more and I'm calling my boss and telling him I quit and that I will save my employer the money for the rest of my hotel stay since I'm outta here......

Sitting on the edge of the bed now, eyes glued to the TV screen
,,,,,,,,and the next two numbers that come up, I do not have. Won $80, completed the course, stayed employed.

THAT I remember, the numbers themselves, nope.

Nowadays the numbers are spit out from a computer, not televised, and a scanner tells me if I have won if I don't bother to go online and personally check my own ticket.

Do I recall any other close calls? Well I have gotten 4/6 a few times but its not memorable since I now know its not going to garner me all that much.

She is coming, my own, my sweet;
Were it ever so airy a tread,
My heart would hear her and beat,
Were it earth in an earthy bed;
My dust would hear her and beat,
Had I lain for a century dead;
Would start and tremble under her feet,
And blossom in purple and red.

The source of the prophecies is under scrutiny. I am trying to explain what I heard and learned from this source for people in this forum to put him under the microscope for my betterment.

But upon what basis is this discrimination to be made? I ask this with the utmost gravity, because this question has to an extent become the crux of this thread. By your own accounting, you have botched every attempt to interpret these prophecies--for example, your selection of specific dates of destruction based on astrology and cherry-picked historical examples. You could study Ka Apaz's gibberish for another decade, and come up with the same wrong answers as you did before, if you fail to craft an analytical system superior to the futile mystical bag of tricks you previously employed.

As others have pointed out, your conception of what is "good for the soul" amounts to a bias towards death as a punishment for mankind's evil ways. Is this how you imagine your god? To use such a conception as the basis for future analysis pre-programs the answer to fulfill a despicable wish for the deaths of 4 billion people.

Astreja gives you good advice here, PeaceCrusader; I wish that you would listen to her:
64 is not old, PC. You still have time to start questioning your religious indoctrination, develop some critical thinking skills and improve the quality of your life.

But I am afraid you might not.

I think on some level PeaceCrusader accepts that he, as a human, is fallible. His problem, I think, is that he truly believes that he has successfully substituted his "internal" human fallibility for God's external infallibility.

And he is utterly unaware 1) that it's essentially the same as saying "I'm infallible", and 2) why it makes no sense at all...

I have been thinking about this possibility--and find it even more disturbing than a more commonplace arrogance (mine, for instance ) would be.

I have a soft spot for the Mauve Decade: Wilde, Whistler, Beardsley, Sherlock Holmes, Gilbert & Sullivan, ghost investigations by the Society for Psychical Research. But the real reason for the franc in the cartoon was that--888 being Jeebus's lucky number--I needed 3-digit prices that sounded reasonable in my example for PeaceCrusader, and the modern euro would not do. But it's kind that you attribute it to artistic choice. :) (A less educational version of my Lapin Rouge is here.)

Maybe your best poster yet. Love "Le Lapin Rouge". But I would differ on the opinion of the eats. Obviously, one should order the rabbit. From the pictorial evidence, it's "fresh-killed", and bound to be delicious.

But...that would be cannibalism (for the bunny, at least)! ;)

Looks like none of Ka Apaz's revelations and predictions stand up to any sort of scrutiny.

You also believe that Ka Apaz is just faking the spirit of Ama? You have to experience what we (plural) experienced. Would you like to go to Baliwag, Bulacan, Philippines also? I just don’t guarantee you that you will be able to talk to Ama. I was there for four weeks this year from 05-01 to 05-28 but I only talked to him twice – during my first week. The first was unexpected and short attended by Pilar Pilambato and myself only, but the second was for almost one hour attended by about six. I waited for his return for the next three weeks for I had more questions to ask and points to be clarified but until I left, he did not return anymore.

You know, in the calendar discussion list that I participate in, the people there composed of calendar enthusiasts and experts, and some of them have written books and scholarly publications, or IT professionals, are all mum, especially when I point out that the birth of Jesus was in 33 BC, citing that a spirit revealed the date as May 23 (that spirit is the source of the failed prophecies about the 2012 Olympic Games in London). They all believe that since the time of exodus, the Israelites have been using a lunisolar calendar, which I say that they only used it after their exile in Babylon, adopting even the month names and the manner of intercalation. They could not believe what I say or could not believe the spirit.

Imagine that - experts who have devoted years to studying the subject using every possible resource say that you are completely wrong in your dates. On the one side (reality) there is the historical record, and on the other side (yours) there is a medium who has a track record of failed prophecies and making up non-existent saints, Egyptian royals and English grave-robbers. It's a puzzle why you believe the medium, but it's no puzzle why the rest of the educated world believes in reality instead.

Are you talking about seance sessions with KA?
It must have been very disappointing for you, especially in light of the fact you wanted to know about WW III.

I can see you're disappointed by such a cold reception of your insights about the Hebrew calendar.
Maybe you should keep in mind that these pronouncements come from seances with a medium who claims there's someone in the UK with almost 100 coffins with incorruptible cadavers in their home.

Yes, I tried to interpret these prophecies. He first said about the world war originating from the Philippines in 1986 and in about the 1990s, in the middle of the year. I even went to the Philippines three months ago and lived near where Ka Apaz resided to be at her place almost every day. I was like the farmer waiting patiently for the first raindrop to wet the parch ground. Luckily, during my first week, I was able to talk to him but very briefly only – about five minutes. And then, on 05-04, he came again and for about one hour.

Could I not express my own interpretation? I am certain that the prophecies will happen because I have proven myself in my studies from 1999 to 2006 that his revealed ancient dates of May 23 birth and August 17 death of Jesus are true and correct. My 31-day middle of the year window under the zodiac sign of Cancer was reduced to just four days. And 07-04 was there, the public holiday Independence Day of the US, a logical opportunity to sneak attack the US. 07-04 came and went. There was no war. Next, I guessed that it would be on 07-18, the last Wednesday under Cancer. Again, the date came and went, there was no war. Then, 07-25, the last Wednesday before the Opening Ceremony of the 2012 Olympic Games (OG) in London. Again, the date came and went and no war. The Ceremony was held and I guessed that it might be 08-08, the last Wednesday during the Olympics and like the number of Jesus which is 888. Like before, the date came and went. No war. OG was successfully held and ended of 08-12. I accept that the prophecy failed. Why? I don’t know. Maybe, I guess that the non-believers of Jesus are given more time to wake up and come back to God. Maybe. Aren’t you happy that it did not happen?

You know, the spirit was been warning us about the world war. In 1986 when he said about the war, he said that our visitor is already at the stairway of our house. And in about year 2000, he always said that the war is already very near, and that at least, we who know about the coming war, would be prepared and be saved, maybe physically and spiritually, or spiritually. Mark 8:35 states, “For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel’s, the same shall save it.” This is similar to what is in Matthew 10:39, 16:25; Luke 9:24, 17:33; and John 12:25.

The prophecy about the 2012 OG in London failed. But there is still the threat of war coming from Spratly Islands that the Philippines is claiming. That is why I believe that the prophesied world war from the Philippines will still happen. When? I do not know.

Yes, I was waiting for the spirit of Ama to come back after the 05-04 session, but until I left, he did not return anymore. It was not a “seance” because we cannot see a spirit or touch it but we can hear the spirit and record on tape our session. And it was not Ka Apaz who talks. Otherwise, she could have “impersonated” Ama when I went to see her during the next three weeks.

My main purpose of going to the Philippines this year was answered. When will the war that he has been telling us happen? He said “That [the Olympic Games in London] will really not he held [or completed]. It will not be held [or completed].” The 2012 OG is the stop point of when the prophesied war would happen. He reduced by guess of 31-day middle of the year under the zodiac sign of Cancer to just four.

Yes, I was very disappointed why the prophecies failed. I had been confident that it will not fail because I myself have proved to be true and correct his revelations that Jesus was born on May 23 and died on August 17.

The people in the calendar discussion list do not know about the cadavers in the UK that Angelina Imden dug up. I have not even mentioned Angelina Imden to them.

Since you are in Europe, you may check this out. There were four nails that were used when they crucified Jesus, one to each of His hands and feet. The mother of Emperor Constantine, Helena, found the cross and the nails when she went to Jerusalem. The first nail is called Clavo Santo. It went to Karpentas (I do not know where this is). The second went to a church in Milan, Italy brought by San Carlos. The third I think is in Rome which was placed in a diadem of Constantine. The fourth is in Paris at the temple of San Dionisio. Please check whether there is truth in these.

Regarding the Spanish texts to be translated to English, please read about Juan I, king of Castile, during the 14th century. Please indicate the date as AD if translated already from Spanish era date.

There'll always be an England

PeaceCrusader, this subject is a complete derail of the topic at hand. If you wish to discuss it, you must begin a different thread over in Religion & Philosophy.
