The gazillionith July Stundie Nom thread

Let us suppose that our 18 year old uncircumcised male decides to remain uncircumcised, but that at age 25 he decides he made a bad choice. He can undo that choice by becoming circumcised, right? Of course not. What he wants is to be a 19 year old circumcised male, and he can't do that.

WHAT? Whatever your personal opinion on circumcision, this statement makes absolutely no sense.

Probably because it would be a violation of causality...

Considering the plotline of "THe Dark Night Returns" I suspect that the conspiracy kooks will go crazy over the film. The Limbaugh incident might be only the beginning....

I happen to know the Dark Knight likes noodleses better than rices. They even have debonair alter egos as bow ties -- how Bruce Winesauce can you get? Or you can serve them Alfred-o.

What about The Dark Knight rises?

Ouch! I stand corrected....though in defense I state that Nolan has taken a lot of his Batman trilogy from Frank Miller's take on Batman.

I am fully expecting a reaction from the CT kooks to TDKR that will top the craziness we got from them with "The Watchmen". I don't wan't to post spoilers, but just look up a few reviews to see what I mean about how the main plot will attract the kooks the way that honey attracts flys.

I just want to say that my prediction about TDKR causing the conspriacy kooks to go crazy was posted five hours before the tragic, sad, shootings in Colorado, and were based purely on the political overtones of the movies plot.

Just out of curiosity, would outlandishly dumb statements from self-proclaimed "Jesus freaks" (or a similar statement thereof) be eligible for Stundie noms? If so, here's a gem for you from the Landover Baptist Church forum, made by the forum's administrator or, as he calls it, "Forum Security Superviser[sic]", that someone on the board here linked to in the humor forum:

The evidence is clear that The Flood was so big it covered the earth and mars. Now that is the power of God for you.

There are others in that very post, and countless others in the thread itself, but this one just LEAPT out at me. Apparently water, rather than essentially simultaneously freezing and boiling in the vacuum of space, is capable of encompassing two planets that are anywhere from 54.6 million to 401 million miles apart, depending upon when you measure the distance.

How many cubic feet of water you think that would take? I find myself highly doubtful that there's enough water in this SOLAR SYSTEM to cover that amount of distance, but I'm not really aware of how much water can be found in the solar system. I'm positive there isn't enough on Earth though, even if you melt the polar ice caps.

ETA: Shoot, should've checked the date... that post was made in 2007! Oh well; still Stundielicious.

The Landover Baptist Church is a Poe.
In fact it is pretty much the Poe.

It only lacks some 'All your base are belong to us'. For the rest it is perfect in it's businesslike communication. :)

This is a conversation about Apollo and all the items taken (including the geology hammer)....

"Is it right they made the 1kg hammer from aluminium to save weight ?"

It's like that trick question you heard on the playground: "Which weighs more, a ton of bricks or a ton of feathers?"

Only this guy didn't get the joke. Now he's all grown up and he still doesn't get it. Can anything be more pathetic?
