I think the Conservative Treehouse has reached a new low. Not just because they released her name, whether rape victims should be named is a complex issue. Rather because they not only name her but immediately start attempting to trash her and creating anger towards her. And evidently naming her wasn't enough, they had to post 4 different pictures of her. I have to wonder if anyone is feeding them info, they sure did get a post up on this quick with her name and several pics.

Anyone else corroborate W9's story? The sister? The mother? Anyone?

Not yet in the media, however she claims she told her family and that they confronted him at a restaurant and he said "I'm sorry" and walked out. If that's true she should certainly have corroboration on that.

Here's a strange quote from the Miami Herald story:

"....Fluent in Spanish, in one call he lamented to his sister that their parents did not give him a proper Hispanic name like “Jorge.” If America had understood he was Latino, the entire ugly affair over the shooting death of Trayvon Martin could have been avoided, he said....."

So GZ thinks nobody would care if a Hispanic shot and killed an unarmed black teenager? Or a Hispanic would never do it except in extreme self-defense? Or the criminal justice system is more lenient with Hispanics than whites(!)? Or people would assume it was some kind of gang turf war? Or what? Does "Jorge" really think he's in jail because people think he's white?

And so the lawyer lied to the court? Wow, I remember after the first bond hearing people proclaiming that O'Mara was a top notch lawyer. But he's not wrapping himself in glory here at all. <if true>

I think she means that this evidence should not come into the case about shooting Trayvon Martin, and I agree.

But NBS's statemant was:

"Because it serves no purpose whatsoever except to pollute the jury pool."

I was pointing out that the whole world does not revolve around this one case.

There is a purpose for coming out, and that is to arrest the person that sexually molested her during her entire childhood.

Saying she shouldn't do that just because it would pollute the jury pool in this case is asinine.

As far as I can tell this is the list of things Z spent PayPal donations on while still hiding the PayPal money from the court up until the point O'Mara made him transfer it to the trust fund.

I assume it all ads up to around $25,000 which is the Total ($177,790) minus the Trust Fund Check ($122, 790) minus the Cash ($20,000) minus the Bond ($5,000). I didn't add it all up to see if it is equal to, or close to, $25,000.

Some interesting things. At least 5 seperate credit cards with multiple payments on most of them.

Let's just say I would have not spent $25k like this, no matter where I got it.

Nobody said she shouldn't have reported it. The entire conversation is about it being released with the rest of the evidence. That is a complete and utter strawman!
