I am the first in the world

A precise equation for the consciousness depending of time:

N0 – initial number of consciousness states
N – the final number of consciousness states
T – the value of the human soul cycle (5000 years), for atheists (70 years)
x – the time between 0 and T

The equation for Consciousness: C = c(e^(2x / 5000) – 1)

This equation is almost as valid as that claim you made a few months ago where you said that you could travel to Jupiter in less than one hour.

The way it works is that an animal's level of consciousness is directly equal to that animal's capacity for understanding that Natalie Portman just isn't into him.

So, for example, I am 13 years older than Natalie, she has a baby and she is getting married in August. I know for a fact that Natalie Portman just isn't into me*.

But let's take a dog. A friendly dog is going to run up and lick Natalie Portman, something I would almost never do. The dog doesn't understand that she's not into him. If Natalie kicked the dog, he might be deterred for the moment. The dog would eventually come back and try to lick her again. Natalie would have to kick the dog over and over for the dog to ever learn that she's just not into him. (I realize Natalie Portman loves and does not in any way kick dogs.) The dog has a lower level of consciousness than I do.

Now imagine a turtle. It really doesn't matter how Natalie treats a turtle. That turtle is never going to pick up on the fact that she doesn't want to date him, no matter how many times she calls the police. The turtle has a very low level of consciousness.

Thus, by putting any animal in a room with Natalie Portman, we can predict its evolutionary level to three standard deviations (or whatever deviation you'd like to use).

______________

* for now. Who knows what the future holds?

It's a nice theory, but unfortunately falls down in one key area. According to this test, Benjamin Millepied would have no consciousness whatsoever. And I'm not sure Portman would marry someone without a consciousness.

Can we alter some of the variables in that formula so as to force detectable changes in our consciousness, confirming it?

In the interest of science, I would like to participate in this experiment, to provide you with one human datapoint. :D My understanding is that this experiment will consist of putting me in a room with Natalie Portman, and seeing how long it takes for me to realize she's not into me, correct? Also, to help establish the experimental protocols, am I allowed to bring wine, mead, or other beverages in? I mean, I'm assuming Portman and I won't be naked, which automatically introduces a variable.

Eh, one outlier isn't a serious issue. Also, lack of consciousness may be a side effect of prolonged exposure to Natalie Portman. No one, to my knowledge, has determined the LD50 of Natalie Portman, which is another experiment I'd gladly offer to be a part of. :D

Dang it seems I have a much lower consciousness level than you, about dog-level.

Just to be clear, my theory measures the average consciousness of a species. Any individual of any species might score far differently than the species' mean.

Also, I can travel to Jupiter in about an hour forty, at Jupiter's mean distance from earth. If Jupiter is farther away, it will take longer. If it's closer, I can't get there at all because I'll be going to fast and completely overshoot it.

The Christians, the Muslims, the Atheists … who say we have 1 life are wrong because if N0 = 0 and T =70 years after 10 years for example people will have the same consciousness what is not true.
My theory is a proof for reincarnation, Evolution!
