crimresearch Conspiracy Theory post count: 92% and rising.

Congratulations. I hope an award is in your future if you make it to 98%.

It's going to be interesting to watch the Bond hearing tomorrow, and see ole Tugboat up on the stand again. Now, of course he doesn't HAVE to testify...but when the judge tells him: it's important he testify, that pretty much sets up the dynamic. Yep. It is sure to be an explosive Zimmerific day.

Judge Lester's words were to the effect of 'I can't let you or his wife testify while George sits there silently, *like* a potted palm...

The claim that the judge *called* George 'a potted palm' as an insult,

I understand what you're saying, he didn't directly call him a potted palm, correct. He did however use a simile, which I know you know all about. I thought it was very funny actually. Maybe not insulting, sure, but certainly funny.

came from the same quarter as 'the judge said that he was lying about the passport', 'DeeDee heard the gunshots', 'the magical audio software is hard science, while the FBI's is unproven', 'no broken nose, no blood', and other 'theories'.

I'll not even try to address this, as most of this is foreign to me, since I am not familiar with any of that, other than the "magical audio software" which I agree, is not very scientific, but is accepted by the courts....but I digress.

That's one of the things I want to clear up with the crime scene diagram that should be released by Wednesday.

The shell casing was recovered after Martin's body was removed. It may well have been under Martin's body after it was flipped by SPD officers. That seems to correspond with Object Marker 6 (which is never referenced in the police reports) being Martin's body. Another possible explanation is that OM-6 is the initial marker for the metal detector tone. Presumably if it marked some trace evidence, that would have been referenced in the police reports as well.

Det Ceisla narrates this portion of the initial investigation in the police summary on page 19:

Today is Thursday. Where are my diagrams ? ;)

According to : http://www.flcourts18.org/PDF/Press_Releases/SKMBT_363-V12061312310.pdf
Order on The State's Motion for Protective Order and the Media Intervener's Motions to Intervene

I thought they had 15 days to re-redact and release the other items that were specifically listed.
(eta: which they did)

Do they have 30 days perhaps to redact the additional items he had listed ? I had thought those were to come out yesterday, too, but apparently not...

You're probably not going to see Zimmerman testify tomorrow. Unless MOM finds some advantage to it, any explanation he gives the judge will be in camera - off the record and out of view.

By my reading, the deadline is tomorrow. Let me look at it again.

ETA: The second supplemental discovery was served to MOM on Jun 14, which would make the release dealine Jun 29. The state can release a redacted version along with a protective order.

You go with that, kay?

:D

Well, I was just cutting one head off the Hypedra.

Just to clear that up, I don't know where I came up with Wednesday. The original order gave the state 15 days from the time of the order to unredact and release the first round of discovery. That was what we've already gotten. It also imposes the same requirement on future releases. Since the second round was given to MOM on 6-14, they would have till 6-29 to release that.

Not sure why the date MOM was served -vs the date the judge signed the order, I would think the date it was signed. And because the state re-released the re-redacted reports and the Stress test Wednesday ... why did they release that earlier than they had to? Seems a bit odd.

There can be strong evidence of a crime without asserting premeditation. If you don't like to read my posts, scroll on by or put me on ignore. Then you won't have to worry about finding any salient points I might include in my posts.
Thanks for the tip. Done.

Here's the link so you don't have to go to any trouble finding it:

I watched the video.

Yes, there are some inconsistencies in his story.

I don't know if TM had enough time to walk between the houses, come back, and run then run off again ... but maybe. That's the biggest one that sticks out to me.

Other than that, I think he was struggling to remember what happened. It didn't strike me as a collection of intentional lies. For example, the number on the house wouldn't have done him much good considering he had just said he couldn't remember the street name ... Other things during the interview, about going to the hospital, etc. Ockhams razor tells me that many of the inconsistencies really do demonstrate poor memory of the events, as there appears to be no benefit to intentionally lying about so many things.

The Media Motion to Reconsider was in response to the first round of discovery. They objected to the redactions, the state withholding the reenactment video, SVAT, etc...

As part of that order, the court required that future discovery follow the same guidlines - one of them being release within 15 days. At that point, the second round (crime scene diagrams, FBI reports, etc..) hasn't been filed.

From the 6-13 order:

ORDERED AND ADJUDGED:

1. All materials previously provided in discovery shall be released in accordance with the terms of this Order within fifteen days of rendition of the Order. The realease shall be accomplished by filing a Notice of Supploemental Discovery with the Clerk of the Court.

2. Unless other authority exists that was not cited by the parties, release of all future discovery will be in accordance with this Order. However, the parties may continue to file redacted discovery exhibits with a contemperaneous Motion for Protective Order as directed by the April 30, 2012.

Part 2 says future discovery must be released within 15 days.

The second discovery was was filed by the state the next day 6-14. That gives a deadline of 6-29 for the release.

Yes, there are some inconsistencies in his story.

It's just that the level of corroboration vastly outweighs the little inconsistencies.

Another one struck me as I was listening to W6. In one of his interviews, Zimmerman claims that he was begging W6 for help. That's sounds like a self-serving statement, right? Zimmerman's putting his thumb on the scale.

When you go back to W6s statement, guess what? W6 clearly talks about the impression that Zimmerman was or may have made eye contact with him. He states he can't tell if Zimmerman was trying to make eye contact or just trying to get up. This is mere seconds before the fatal shot. W6 states that at that same time he hears Zimmerman screaming for help "2 or 3" times.

But ... please feel free to point out all the posts in the original thread that documented and explored GZ and FT close friendship.

Seriously you missed all those??

It's like asking me to point out the posts in the original thread where Z was shown to be a liar!

“There are several factors that weigh against his release: this is a serious charge for which life could be imposed; the evidence against him is strong; he has been charged with one prior crime, for which he went through a pretrial diversion program, and has had an injunction lodged against him,

Most importantly, though, is the fact that he has now demonstrated that he does not properly respect the law or the integrity of the judicial process.”

I seriously doubt the judge meant "weak" or even "just enough" by strong. Even in the capis sense.

The judge was clearly P.O.'d when he said that quote.

It was definitely no reason to attack KatieG for so many posts.

Does this work, where he's introduced as "George Zimmerman's friend and former neighborhood watch block captain"?

ETA: Wow, first time listening to Frank. That guy is one racist POS.

"If you plant corn, you get corn".

So racial profiling is ok.

W6 saw, by his own admission, literally, just a few seconds in the dark, dark, dark.

Please post the tape where his eye contact was made.

I would *love* to listen to it.
