Could be this witness:

I transcribed the following myself: (it was not part of the CNN transcript, as they cut away at that time) [Link to video: http://www.wral.com/news/video/11004815/#/vid11004815 ]

DE LA RIONDA: Isn’t it true, sir, that at least one witness described a person chasing another person in the back of that area where that murder occurred?

GILBREATH: Yes.

...
O’MARA: A couple of questions...The continued to follow that Mr. Zimmerman continued to follow

what evidence do you have to support that?

GILBREATH: He was told not to follow him, he continued on for a period of time.

O’MARA: How long?

GILBREATH: I don't know … I would say less than a minute before he hung up, which is prior to the encounter between the two,

O’MARA: Okay. Any other evidence besides that there was a phone call that he was on for a minute? Any other evidence, any other witnesses?

GILBREATH: To?

O’MARA: To the fact that he quote continued to follow.

GILBREATH:
We have a witness statement who observed, that was on the perimeter of this, who observed shadows or figures, excuse me, running by her residence.

So, what do you think, perjury or just innocent mistakes? The witness had changed her story around a month before the bond hearing as follows:

_____________________
• Witness 2: A young woman who lives in the gated community was interviewed twice by Sanford police and once by the Florida Department of Law Enforcement.

She told authorities that she had taken out her contact lenses just before the incident. In her first recorded interview with Sanford police four days after the shooting, she told lead Investigator Chris Serino, "I saw two guys running. Couldn't tell you who was in front, who was behind."

She stepped away from her window, and when she looked again, she "saw a fistfight. Just fists. I don't know who was hitting who."

A week later, she added a detail when talking again to Serino: During the chase, the two figures had been 10 feet apart.

That all changed when she was re-interviewed March 20 by a state agent. That time, she recalled catching a glimpse of just one running figure, she told investigator John Batchelor, and she heard the person more than saw him.

"I couldn't tell you if it was a man, a woman, a kid, black or white. I couldn't tell you because it was dark and because I didn't have my contacts on or glasses.... I just know I saw a person out there."

Did you happen to listen to this tape, would you care to actually comment on GZ's statements, or just play twenty questions?

Which statements in the tape are an issue for you?

You should try to listen to Zimmerman's reenactment, they really don't square up with his own police call very well at all, as Uniboogie noted. Among other things, we never hear the responder tell him to move his car, and we never hear Zimmerman move his car, which he says happened. He claims in his reenactment that Martin ducks between the rows of houses, but then comes back, circles his car, and then runs off again, at which point Zimmerman exits his vehicle. But in his police call, he states that Martin is near the clubhouse, and that he walks by him and starts running, and *this* is when Zimmerman exits his vehicle. I can't think of any way to reconcile these, and apparently neither could Zimmerman.

Then there's the first attack, which in one version knocks him straight back (and away from the fight scene), but in another causes him to stumble around.

And as Serino said, a person whose had their head bashed against concrete shouldn't just be walking around a second later, and a person who is being suffocated can't scream. Combine with that the canned dialogue, and the supposedly freakish behavior that he ascribed to Martin. The running back and forth, the car circling, the mysterious reappearance and homicidal rage, the movie dialogue. The simple fact is, he can tell his story consistently as much as he wants, but it doesn't match much of anything, and it simply makes no sense.

Sheesh! I had thought that maybe his reenactments were being distorted through word of mouth, but it turns out, folks were repeating him accurately - even his own father's early press release stating that Zimmerman never followed Martin.

Hmm. Her testimony fits GZ story of TM running off between the houses (one person), then coming back.

Right. In his re-enactment, he says something like "he punched me and I sort of staggered, I'm not sure how I got over here but" (paraphrasing). But in his original story, he went straight down.

Again, this is what the DA was referring to when he asked about multiple versions of the tale.

Here's another weird piece.

George claims he got on top of Trayvon and proceeded to hold his arms out away from his body as if to subdue him (after he was shot). He holds his arms wide and demonstrates. Wasn't Trayvon found with both his arms tucked under him?

Anyone else catch that?

Page 14, report of Ayala, Ricardo.

I then noticed that there was what appeared to be a black male ... lying face down on the ground, The black male had his hands underneath his body... At that time, Sgt. Ralmondo and I turned the black male over And began CPR.

I don't know which witnesses said what about hands under or spread out.

I posted this at #12897: [June 10th]

There was one thing John said in that above interview I referenced, that has me scratching my head.

Something he said at about the 33:00 - 34:00 minute mark here...

He describes the position TM's body was in when he saw it immediately after it happened was (paraphrase) "like a crime-scene chalk outline."

(and draws it out for two minutes)

I assume like this:
chalk_icon1447.jpg

One hand up, other down, as if 'swimming.'

You can hear it here

(fast up to about the 33 minute mark)

Yet police found TM with his hands under him. Hmmm.

That you refuse to state what term we're actually discussing is quite telling.

Clearly you don't want to acknowledge your lie, or get caught telling it again.
I know which term we're discussing, and I also know the meaning of the term.

You should stop digging yourself deeper in a hole.

Right. George says he pulled his arms apart as if to subdue him as he yelled "don't move!".

This does not square. Another odd lie on his part.

Are you sure it's a lie on his part ? The detectives can't agree on TM pants color. Are you sure the one detectives description isn't mistaken, instead of GZ lying ? Becuase you are right - GZ was very clear that he spread TM arms out. And it would be a very odd thing to intentionally lie about.

Shouldn't there be a witness statement to corroborate this ? Which witness number was the first one out ?

"[Zimmerman] had fed-up issues. He was mad as hell and wasn't going to take it anymore.”

Maybe he said that to explain why he was found on top by some witness. But he said it and it does not match what the EMT saw.

The fact that they don't square up with your truther speculations and spin is not particularly compelling.

If you hear a fight going on in a bar (and for you, that would be a very loud fight), should you stay outside and call the police or should you go inside and check it out first?
You imitate a rock, anything else is getting "physically involved" according to people in this thread.

I've learned some fascinating things in this thread!

The position of the body is a little bit more important than whether the dead child was wearing jeans or khaki's.

Make sure you don't forget either that if you do go in the bar instead of doing the smart thing and just staying outside and calling the police, (maybe because you want to make sure you are HEARING correctly) then end up getting attacked to the point where you kill someone to save your life, YOU are responsible for going in the bar and thereby physically involving yourself in the fight.

And you'll deserve to spend your life in prison for it, too.
