Ignition source to ignite the gas.
Control system to do all of this remotely without a human present.
Power supply for all the above.

General, basic science (even "new" discoveries) is not generally classified.....this is partially due to the fact of WHO it is that conducts basic science research....

Military research is always goal oriented towards APPLICATION OR POTENTIAL APPLICATION......other research is often oriented towards increasing knowledge for the sake of knowledge.....the military has no such interest.

What is typically classified are the DETAILS of HOW something is being used, not the fundamental capabilities of it. Any capable lab in the world can reproduce nano-thermite and play around with particle sizes and mixtures......but the application of that material is where specialists come in. And THAT is what is classified.

When Sunstealer tell you that nano thermite cant do what you think it can you should listen to him....he is talking about the physics and chemistry of the material....something even the military is bound by.

When you tell him he cant know this because of classifications you are showing your ignorance and lack of knowledge between something that is fundamental science and something which is an application of that science.
