You mean that mind controlled alter personalities could be a conscious state. That's not the impression I got from learning about mind control. The altered personalities are unconscious 'asleep', even while they are performing their tasks as I understand it. And even if the alters are conscious states, and I was myself in such state right now, that would mean that my whole life all the way back to childhood would be such mind controlled state. That's hardly probable.

So, ask yourself if you can determine if I'm conscious or a mind controlled alter personality in 'sleep walking' mode. See the problem? When the possibility of mind control is included the situation becomes really tricky. Ordinary, without such mind control, we usually take for granted (except for solipsism) that all people who behave awake really are conscious. With the possibility of mind control the picture is not so simple.

Here is a speculative conspiracy theory for the bigger picture:

If what Svali has described is true (such as in these articles: http://svalispeaks.wordpress.com/category/the-illuminati-how-the-cult-programs-people/ ) then the 'Illuminati' or the cabal or the 'family' or the shadow society or whatever name to give this secret collective, use mind control on all its own members.

And if it's true that mind control alter personalities function on a mechanically programmed subconscious level, then the members will not be able to do individual higher rational reasoning. BUT, the whole collective is a tightly interconnected and well-organized group that as a whole could potentially have huge reasoning and analytical capabilities, and that would explain how they can carry out very advanced operations like the false flag 9/11 attacks for example, and it would explain how the cabal can operate secretly over centuries or even millenia.

It would also explain how they can have plans and agendas that span decades and centuries. Because they operate not as individuals but as a collective machine, very much similar to the Borg hive mind in Star Trek.
