Mostly harmless
With the risk of entering tinfoil hat territory an even more speculative idea is that the mind control hive mind is connected telepathically.
I, for one, welcome our new insect overlords.

Think about someone close to you who you have known for many years. Do you believe such memory could be programmed into you? Sure, the memory may weak in many places but overall as a combined memory of say a loved one that's something very firm and is hardly something that can be produced as some kind of false memory.

Your belief that it is made up crap doesn't make it so.
My belief is that it may be true. The problem many debunkers have is that they feel the need to be certain. I don't have that weakness. Ha ha.

Um, apparently you are not aware of teh fallibility of memory.
Good. Because now I have an even more speculative theory. This time in the direction of New Age ideas. In one sense the analogy with the Borg hive mind in Star Trek is completely false according to this new theory, because the Borgs just kept on assimilating other species while always remaining the same anonymous hive mind.
The new idea is this: Instead of the mind control hive mind remaining like a mechanical machine with members without individuality, the evolution of this collective mind is into a global consciousness for humanity! Pretty new agie, eh?
This means that when ordinary people start to plug in to the collective mind they will not be assimilated like Borgs but will retain their personal individual selves without the need for mind control. And as more and more ordinary people connect telepathically to the collective mind, the 'Mind of Gaia' awakens, and humanity makes its next evolutionary leap into a higher level of existence.
Here is Bruce Lipton describing something similar: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8kHEcVNlcMQ

What a sloppy index!
I think you get another 20 for that.
Your controllers in the cabal must be very pleased with the job you're doing of making conspiracy theories look implausible.
If someone totally loses all memories of someone they have known for decades, such as a wife or husband, then that's called Alzheimer's or some pathology like that. With a normally functioning brain, a huge memory loss of that kind doesn't occur.
So maybe you don't know that much about memory, it is very fallible and plastic.
serious question, 20+ pages of biting on this blatant trolling? what gives?
I thought it would be fun to see what Anders did when he got a taste of his own medicine. By asking him to prove he was not under mind control, we cast him in the role of a skeptic and gave him an incentive to think critically. Naturally I don't believe in mind control. But by responding to his objections with purely conjectural assertions, it wasn't hard to force him to validate the skeptical approach. For every conjectural possibility we threw out, he tried to counter it with arguments of the form, "No, that's not how it works," or "No, that's impossible" -- basically all the arguments skeptics have been mounting against his off-the-wall conspiracy theories for months.
Well, not entirely. A lot of his arguments have relied on further unsupported assertions that mind control works, but works in such a way that it can't apply to him.
Sure, he's the Pope of Special Pleading. But I thought it was fun to watch him play skeptic for a day or so.
So your conspiracy theory ideas were just a form of trolling. So much for reliable standpoints. Flip-flopping personality. Or are you just trolling all the time?
One person's troll is another person's chew toy.
