Milwaukee 'werewolf' attempted murder

The description of what she did seems somewhat euphemistic.

Did she actually hold this dude hostage for two days and tortured him with a knife?

If a man does that to a woman, is it also described as a "sexual encounter getting out of hand"?

"Officer, I didn't mind being tied up, and up to the 290th stab wound I was OK....But she ignored my safe word!

This appears to be a werewolf spirit sigil. It's mostly in Russian though, so I'm not sure what to make of it. It appears to be by the same artist who does the succubi.

I am always fascinated by these cases were people long to be monsters.

It is amazing what people are capable of convincing themselves is real, and how far they are willing to go to make it real.

I have observed two styles of these lost souls in various articles:

1) Some people turn the monster mythology into something different in their head. the monster is misunderstood, and is really not bad, is only forced by society to act badly. These people seem to long to be special, powerful, accepted and to have their own feelings of being misunderstood validated through the monster fantasy. There are many people out their fitting this description that never take it to the level of it making headlines.

2) Then there are people that have given up on ever being what they would like to be. They believe they are completely rejected by society, and have had everything taken from them. These people seek revenge and fully accept the monster as evil. It seems that once a person has reached the point of feeling like nothing, they start to turn into the monster. It is better to be anything than nothing, even a monster.

To be fair, "this is great, keep going" was a poorly chosen term.
Easy to lead to confusion.

Plus, the ball-gag made it sound like 'Mphffff, mmrffffff, bfuullllll', which doesn't even sound remotely similar.

You can't really blame her there.

Are you familiar with Otherkin ? I actually learned about them last year, right here at the JREF :) And check out this polled thread here ... at that time, only 67% of those who took the poll thought they were merely human and nothing more :)

"Female lust and the nymph girlfriend" indeed.

Well I don't know about all that, but I really want a black conversion van with this airbrushed on the side:

(I'd also settle for a t-shirt)

Hmm, most Google hits lead to this news story but some also turn up on e-bay. Apparently it's a term used by those people who buy junk and (sometimes) alter it in some minor way and then resell it as haunted or enchanted.

For $144.50, you can buy a card that with a sigil on it that contains a succubus. Obviously every red-blooded American male needs a succubus.
.
Yes.
A tee-shirt cart opened at the Mall last week. One of the tee-shirts said....
IT WON"T
SUCK

And another advertised the
"Happy Ending
Massage Parlor"
A few complaints to the management and it is not there any more.

You know, I think "sigilborn spirits" sounds familiar. I think it may have been from a video game however...possibly one of the Elder Scrolls games.

Or I could just be getting it confused with a town call Sigil, you never know.

You know , i always end up with all kinds of wounds from female sex partners ( i'm bi and not to be sexist but it is never the guys who feel the need to do stuff like this.) back full of scratches, actual legit bite wounds, piercings ripped out ( this was stupidity versus sexual violence, but i digress.), etc. Not that i am "into that" but i am an easy going guy.

Now some of these have been pretty nasty, enough so that friends of mine have noticed the trend. But when i hear this story, i can't help but think that i got off light, no pun intended.

And in regards to the woman, while we can't see her body, she doesn't seem that bad. I mean it is a mug shot by my guess.

The city is called Sigil.

Sigilborne Spirits sounds a lot like it might be conceptually related to Chaos Magick with its creation of sigils as mental/magickal constructs based on randomised symbols. Part of that paradigm is that you can construct servitor spirits/mental constructs similar to the Tulpa of Lamaism/Tibetan Buddhism.
Pretending to be a werewolf spirit according to Chaos Magick would give you access to magical powers based on said mythological figure.
But that is just what it sounds like to me, no idea if it actually fits the case.

Oh thank you Moss! It was going to drive me crazy all day trying to remember!

That's such a great game...but it's still just a game.

I think that people are missing a rather obvious point here.

This man was stabbed 300 times...and is still alive! Isn't that more than adequate proof that he's a werewolf?!? I say someone needs to test this more thoroughly...shoot him through the heart with a silver bullet. If it kills him, we know for sure that he's a werewolf!

Well, you would know.
