Never ask a question unless you know the answer. Do you have any clue how moronic the claims of 911 truth are? That is why only 0.01 percent of all engineers and scientists support the idiotic claims of 911 truth.

Here's 634 from Massachusetts.

You're welcome.

....and before you go there, if any of these came out and supported the lunacy of 9/11 trutherdom, you people would know about it by now because they'd be viewed as the unquestioned most knowledgeable and trustworthy people in the world.

There's a quantum step from believing something and accepting the possible consequences of coming out.

So it's better to be thought a fool than to open your mouth and remove all doubt, huh?

As an engineer and scientist, I can see wanting every piece to look at what happened. As an engineer and scientist, I can also realize that the amount of damage done to the falling pieces during the collapse might well have obliterated anything that I could have determined from looking at them PRIOR to the collapse. How will I know which damage is which? The ability to make such determinations seems somewhat limited.

Whatever truthers might feel about how much information they had access to, none of them believed the collapses were caused by anything OTHER than planes, damage, and fires. Call me naive, but I tend to think people trained in these fields, who actually had access to drawings, debris, and computer models, know more about what happened than any truther.
The whole history behind that issue is in the sense that NIST set out to locate pieces from the impact/fire regions, and truthers used the results and twistrd them to claim that either NIST neglected evidence or had insufficient evidence on fire temperatures or whatever... The NIST was fairly clear on that criteria and how they were identifying what went where. Truthers seem to have an expectation that the NIST correspondents were clairvoyant or could use any sample they wanted... not that it makes anything you say here wrong at all.

There's a quantum step from believing something and accepting the possible consequences of coming out.

There would be absolutely no consequences for coming out if there was a conspiracy (which there isn't), at all. There would only be benefits such as being deemed as a hero, giving the media something to sink their teeth into for money, book deals for money, over night fame, putting the "oppressors" behind bars in retaliation for the threatening your life , oh ya, did I mention money?

You seem to assume that people are cowards before they are greedy, which is the biggest flaw in your rationale, besides the fact that you probably also assume the media, which makes money off of exposing stories, would have any motive to hide the biggest story of the century. People will risk their job/skin to become famous/rich over night (from what I've observed), why do you think the people involved with any aspect of 911 would feel any differently?

I found this on a blog regarding 911.

...I am owner and trainer of a K9 training and deployment company in FL. We have been breeding, training and deploying our purpose bred explosive detection and SAR dogs for over 40 years as well as training K9's for the Military, LE and private industry.

In addition we are a FEMA Incident Response Team/First Responder K9 unit for FEMA Task Force II, Miami.

It was in the latter capacity that we were went to NY on 9/11 as part of the FL Task Force, arriving on scene about 3 1/2 hours after the second tower fell. We went with 4 of our dogs and handlers. Our main function was US&R, live person, (not cadaver search) but all of our dogs are cross trained in several disciplines, including EDD and Incendiary detection. In addition, of the over 300 K9 teams that came from all over the world, there were more than 70 other EDD K9's present on site. This is on top of the 6 full time EDD dogs employed full time at the WTC site, 3 of which I had trained personally. Besides the presence of the normal team that patrolled in shifts 24/7, there had been an ADDITIONAL team of 16 explosives interdiction K9's on duty for several weeks prior to the attack. They were there in response to bomb threats against the center (unrelated) and had only been removed 5 days prior to the attack. 6 of those dogs were also trained by our company.

No explosives or incendiary devices were planted anywhere in that complex. None. Our dogs and the other EDD K9's would have alerted after the fact as well. It's what they are trained for."

Do you think this "random" poster is lying, misinformed, or just in on it?

And Richard Gage and the "1500 Architechs and Engineers" are still employeed in their professions and are still alive today because....?

Clayton, your faith in mankind is troubling and highly dellusional. Do you really believe that thousands of good honest Americans (including many foreigners) who worked on the investigation of 9/11 would keep their mouths shut if they believed they had hard evidence to show 9/11 was an inside jobby job? All of the hundreds of professionals that were assigned to NIST's investigation of the collapse of the WTC and building 7 could have be "silenced"? All of the people who lost their comrades that day could be "silenced"?

Dude, you've seen waaaaaaay too many movies.

It's pretty obvious the Seach and Rescue canines on site were given doggy treats by the CIA which were laced with a compound or virus which gave the dogs the common cold. This caused an obstruction of the nasal pasages of the canines for up to 6 weeks at a time. This sort of technology is state of the art military grade chemical warfare and could have only come from US government sources.

His lack of faith in human race is sadly justified, just extremely misdirected.

People not shutting up simply because they have a conscious would be the least likely explanation in my opinion, most of them might feel that way at first, but I bet they would abandon their conscious in a heart beat for a book deal. Some of these people would probably "blow the whistle" just out of greed in the first place...

Either way, the thought of all these thousands of people being quite in a situation like that is more than laughable.

Thank you for that narrative, now if only Truthers would be so bold..

Thousands of young people joined the armed forces following 9/11, risking, oh, you know, death and dismemberment, for some reason or other (and I don't think it was money, just saying). One of them was a young blond FEMALE second cousin of mine, who drove a postal truck in Iraq for 10 months. If only truthers had half that much guts, maybe they would be real men.

I'm not really sure I'm on the same page with you here. I was talking about the people who conducted the investigation. If they had evidence that showed something other than 19 Muslim terrorists hijacked 4 planes they would come forward regardless of monetary gain or whom the evidence implicated. Most of these investigators have a sworn oath to protect this country from enemies foreign and domestic. If the evidence would have led to an inside jobby job someone would have uncovered it and brought it to attention regardless of where the evidence led. The members of the FDNY, PAPD, NYPD, etc. lost a lot of brothers and there's absolutly no way in hell they would keep their mouths shut if they found evidence.

The rest of the investigators were private enitities such as the engineering firms, universities, etc. which would have come forward out of a duty to protect their fellow Americans. It's pretty cynical to believe someone would only come out if there were a monetary gain. I beg to differ, most people would come out because it is the right thing to do.

I was talking about everybody who could have been involved, sorry for the confusion. Anyway like I said, most would probably come forward out of having a conscious at first. What you have to realize is, the media would find and track them down first. It's easy play the conscious card when there is not an abundance of money/fame you have never had before, dangling in front of your face. Greed is a natural human instinct (unless you agree with Jacque Fresco that is). People will justify selling their story at the expense of 3000 people dying without even looking at it in that kind of light. I mean, why not take the money? You can tell the world about your story and enlighten the people about the true horrors of the government..

Even if they came out simply because they were good people (which I stated would probably be the most likely case), would they turn down the interviews when the media approaches them? Would they turn down the money that they will inevitably be offered in the process as well? What about the book deal approaches? Now, I don't doubt for a second that most of these people would have a good enough conscious to come forward, my question is, would most have a big enough conscious to turn down what comes next?

Here you go. How about 50 peer reviewed papers backing up their conclusions?

One of those people was one of my undergrad professors. Which means, truthers, that every time you step into a structure which might have been designed by one of us, you take our life into your hands. Sorry for the terror we have put your life through ;). Advise getting a hardhat. Really. No one will think anything of it if you enter all buildings of any sort wearing a hard hat. It makes us look like we know what's up, kwim?

I challenge any one here to provide a list of 50 professional engineers and 50 professional architects who agree with the "gravitational collapse" of the three WTC buildings.
Excuse me for pointing out that I do not see what your snarky remarks have to do with the remarks of Death Dart which you cited.

DD has all the focus and control of a baby playing with a PPSh, but this is just absurdly random. That you would ask such a thing shows that you have not even been paying attention, long-term or short.

Two workers did step up and say they knew of/observed 3 black boxes being found at the sit of the twin towers.

Eh?

Nothing suspicious about the dogs being removed well before 9/11?

They had dogs on a SAR task. I don't think they'd be reacting to explosives.
