Michelle Bachmann could be our next president.

Helping y'all out here:

1) The BIG Lie to his constituents, and thank goodness he isn't completely nuts; now if he will just rein in Holder.

This is not a fascist country yet, and Obama does not wish to copy a low-life like Nixon.

If anything, Holder has failed to kick a few butts that need it, like that slimeball Ginny Thomas.

...in light of the 'alternative-lifestyle' dig that JudeBrando made...
What "alternative-lifestyle dig" do you say that I make?

There are no facts in evidence that any Republicon office holder since 1980 had more than 50 points on any of the Brassicales.
That didn't take long.
It doesn't matter who they choose. You and those like you will say the same about them. All of them. Always.

This is not a fascist country yet,
Define "fascist" and then explain when exactly do we get there?

You support Holder? You dig that Black Panther thug crap? You're good with that from the top?

...stop trying to destroy the ecconomy to bring Obama down, maybe the ecconomy will get better a little quicker.

Already? Do you get paid to regurgitate the talking point spincrap propaganda that quickly? If not, you should. What a shameless hack.

Fascism is the merging of corporate and governmental interests. You get there by electing drongos like Ryan, Cantor, Bachmann and that orange-skinned freak with the gavel and the drinking problem.

You support Holder? You dig that Black Panther thug crap?

What on earth are you on about now?

Or am I hoping for too much expecting a coherent answer based in some reality external to your skull?

I said "when."

It's a point I've been arriving at lately. All this regular Leftist criticism and condemnation of our supposed and convenient capitalism is actually, or should be, pointing at the state of our fascism.

What on earth are you on about now?

Oh... that was a smooth and masterful distraction... "What on earth"... "coherent".. "reality"... "skull"...
... all just to tap dance and say nothing about Holder? Lol.

Sorry, my mistake, It was AlBell, not you that made the post in question.

Calm down. Nothing said here will convince any of the resident alternative-lifetstyle atheist lefty progressives that Obama can do wrong or that any Republican can ever do anything (or even think anything) that is correct.

Thanks. It needed saying again.

Why, to point out how wrong you are. read the posts above, including the one in which I erroneously mis-attributed your post to JudeBrando. I was pointing out how libs have no problem criticizing Obama (generally for not being liberal enough).

I personally do not agree with everything he has done, but on the whole approve more than disapprove. That is a far cry from thinking that he could do no wrong.

I have also posted on other threads that McCain (before he started to pander to the far right) and Romney are Republicans that I could support, but actually like Obama better.

Yet, it odd that I have never heard you post anything positive about any Dem or ever criticize a Republican. I think you are projecting your own failings unto your opponents and it is showing.

The politics forum, where skepticism goes to die.

Was it Cleon or Piggy who coined that one?

Whoever coined it, I agree with it

And Obama? Genius, right?

Joe Biden comes even closer to the kinds of things that are being nitpicked on Bachmann and Palin both.

"When the stock market crashed, Franklin D. Roosevelt got on the television and didn't just talk about the, you know, the princes of greed. He said, 'Look, here's what happened." -Joe Biden

While naming the Justice John Paul Stevens, “one of the great justices” of the Supreme Court, wrong by calling him “Justice Stewart”:

Choice of Secretary of State or VP (Obama was apparently wondering where that came from).

And others

He's also known for dropping the F-bomb on national television.

Mark Twain once said:"Sometimes I wonder whether the world is being run by smart people who are putting us on or by imbeciles who really mean it.

Palin and Bachmann belong to the latter class.

Those weren't gaffes. Those were the two vapid twits showing their hands.
You're logic would be the equivalent of me judging Joe Biden as unfit for VP based solely on silly waste-of-time blonde moments that ultimately won't have any measurable effect on my life from his politics. I can't do that; the distinction I make is that while Bachmann deserves criticism on her anti-gay rights policies and association with religion in government, you have every right to call her stupid on the basis that her policies are bad for the country; and I have every right not to vote for her based on those ridiculous policies, she's also human as much as Biden and Obama.

I personally will try my best not to attack candidates based solely on the Dan Quayle style gaffes that they will inevitably slip up on during campaigns or everyday occurrence. I can forgive those because it's not the gaffes that necessarily have tangible effects on my life, it's the policies they push through legislation. I wish others would do the same, but that's realistically wishing for far too much. The reason I bring up up biden's gaffes is to show exactly my point, some of the same lines of logic you find ridiculous as criticism against Obama and Biden are exactly the things you're applying to GOP candidates; it's a double-standard

Apparently Pawlenty is telling Republicans not to comment on her good looks thus emphasizing that she is good looking to the press. The press dutifully reports.

I don't know if you were specifically addressing me when you made this comment, but you posted it immediately after my post.

I'm probably left of center. The fact that I was the one who posted the list of Obama's false statements seems to contradict your premise, but maybe I don't qualify as a "alternative-lifetstyle atheist lefty progressive."
