Michelle Bachmann could be our next president.

See my sig for the question which is

"How's that hopey changey thing workin out for ya?"
All things considered, they're working out one hell of a lot better that could be expected under the "no-hopey", "stay-the-samey" thing we were offered as an alternative.

Facts not in evidence.

What part of the current and ongoing disaster that is the Obama presidency do you like?

Osama is dead and we are disengaging in Afghanistan and the Shrub's tax cuts have not been made permanent. We still have domestic auto makers. We have two thinking adults on the Supreme Court who do not fall into step behind the ranting lunatics whom the Shrub appointed.

Now, if that orange-skinned freak in the House would stop marinating his liver in merlot and tell that snivelling conman Cantor to clean up his act and stop trying to destroy the ecconomy to bring Obama down, maybe the ecconomy will get better a little quicker.

perhaps if your party didn't choose bimbos and bozos as presidential candidates, you might not catch so much flak.

It doesn't matter who they choose. You and those like you will say the same about them. All of them. Always.

The generalizations! They're too much! Captain, we can't take much more!

Nothing said here will convince any of the resident alternative-lifetstyle atheist lefty progressives that Obama can do wrong or that any Republican can ever do anything (or even think anything) that is correct.
This definitely does seem to almost always be true.

Ever wonder people, what people would people like this do if Obama actually lived up to campaign promises and ended torture, prosecuted torturers, ended warrantless spying and litany of other War on Terror items he has continued?

What about if he was an actual socialist?

Would that change "disaster" in the above to "apocalypse"?

Yo. Check this out.

Things that make Obama suck:

1) His stance on surveillance/whistleblowing/extrajudicial rendition is as stringent as if not more stringent than that of Bush.
2) He maintains (at best) a facade of dedication to reforming the financial/oil/insurance industries, while enacting policies that further entrench them and even directly aid them.
3) War in Libya

Things that Republicans have done that I respect

1) When Sanford's scandal came out, instead of dragging the whole thing out for weeks, he said "I love this woman, it's really between me and my family, we'll deal with it."

2) They are remarkably skilled at staying on-message and staying in touch with what their voter base wants, which Dems suck at

3) Really a variety of just political technique things. I'm not going to go into each of them in detail, but it boils down to the WAY Republicans handle things. I don't agree ideologically, but I think they handle the actual business of politics way stronger than Dems have in the past 30 years.

Not sure I personally agree with you on all of those points, but they are common criticism of Obama from the left.

Another to add especially in light of the 'alternative-lifestyle' dig that JudeBrando made is that Obama's official position on gay marriage is not very popular with the gay community.

Another fact not in evidence; ok, I'll give you 100.

reportedly

The former Guidance Counselor of Obama's private Hawaiian school has supplied The Washington Post with a certified copy of
Obama's Stanford-Banai IQ Certification, one of which was taken in 1966 when he was a kindergartener in Hawaii before moving to Indonesia, and one which was taken as entrance protocol as a freshman in his private (extremely exclusive) Honolulu private high school.

His IQ was clocked at 172 and 166 respectively (IQ's normally have a fluctuation of 6 or 7 points from test to test so that discrepancy is normal).

Not much out there to confirm this report, however.

Helping y'all out here:

1) The BIG Lie to his constituents, and thank goodness he isn't completely nuts; now if he will just rein in Holder.
2) Yes he's smart enough even with the 100 IQ to know which side of the bread is buttered. Big Business indeed selects our leaders.
3) Why aren't all you lefties rioting in the streets? I admit I don't recall any pre-election pledges not to invade some place or another.
