The Truth Movement: Finally, Lost in Space

Has CM come up with something new?

I think the suggestion that "Zdenek Bazant is old and comes from Prague, therefore 9/11 was an inside job" may be a completely new one for the truth movement. Sadly, I think Mackey's counter requires something insightful, rather than simple bigoted stupidity.

The sheer level of incompetence required to think the above post belongs in this thread is absolutely breathtaking.

Yeah, folks: Let's ask the mods to split that conversation off into a different thread. Possibly one of the ones that already exist on the topic. Ryan's thread here is specific for something else, and specifically not for reheated/rehashed/re-served stuff.

There is still hope (cough, cough) that the TM can bring forward something new and insightful. Be invited,

Witnessed by the recent move of a significant part of this thread to the General Discussion thread, attempts thus far have failed.

Perhaps more fitting?

No, much as I like the Doors, I don't think so.
Like JFK and no-moon-landing conspiracies, there will be twoofers for a long time yet, amazing each other with appeals to ignorance.
How could x happen? Why did y do that? "I don't know, but I'm certainly not going to spoil a good scary story by listening to people who do."

Oh, I agree. Woo is as woo does. But they are dead in the water. There is nothing that they can come up with that is going to discount what is already known. No "new" investigation is forthcoming or necessary...

...and it never has been. G'night, truthers.

Hopefully when 9/11 judgment day happens, and it will, stocks, scarlet letters, and worse will complete much of my bucket list.

We were sitting on our lawn chairs at a park waiting for the fireworks to start, and a couple people with "9/11 was an inside job" picket signs wandered by. My wife asked me "So, why? What was the supposed motive for it?"

I couldn't come up with one. Clayton? Help me explain your delusions to my wife.

I'm certain your wife wouldn't understand.

Fantasies of violence against people who agree with reality. Not cool.

What else can you do when you always lose the battle of wits?
60 days of total intellectual failure - so let's settle it the old fashioned way, with fists and stones and fire, eh?

Oh, look:
I'm certain your wife wouldn't understand.
Clayton AGAIN failed to make an argument, failed to use rationality, failed to provide reason.
He has nothing but brute force at his disposal. Don't be so harsh on him. ;)

I made a point. It just flew over your head.
