Where's FamilyRadio.com today?

What is he saying? Player won't work for me.

God's return was "spiritual only" and October 21, 2011 is still the end of the world. "God's too merciful to make anyone live for five months of Hell on Earth."

He's now talking about "four important days". The first day, May 21, 1988, he says is the day God left the the churches and replaced himself Satan to rule church.

Second is September 7, 1994, he says God started to allow people to be saved outside of church on this day.

He's still rambling.

Oh boy. He can't even admit a mistake. What a jerk.

Third time's a charm, I guess is what he's saying. And of course, more donations will probably be required to spread the message...

Listening: He's claiming God DID bring judgement, the world is now UNDER judgement until the world is destroyed October 21.

The Lord came, but it was a spiritual coming instead of a physical coming.

Reporters questioning him now.

He won't give his possessions away. He needs them until the end of the world.

Never advised anyone to sell their possessions. They should pray about it.

Not backing down about his dates. May 21, we're now under judgement. Oct. 21 the end. All proofs still valid.

Personal responsibility? "I am not the authority. The Bible is the authority." I am a humble teacher.

Can you make another mistake and mislead others? Again, he doesn't back down. Everything happened as told, factually. Only the nature changed (spiritual not physical)

Hasn't kept track of money spent on ads. Has always used a CPA (independent) to go over books. Since founding 52 years ago (Family Radio). All money (milliions) used to preach gospel. "not profit". God's the CEO, (Camping is volunteer, takes no salary)

Previously stated earthquakes would be physical, not spiritual. how to reconcile? "Just study the Bible" it's very difficult to interpret. Don't always hit the nail on the head. We were a long ways toward the right. not wrong.

So, I guess you're saying he didn't smoke a cigarette afterward.

Camping on woman who tried to kill her children: Murdering is terrible, a horrible thing, would make him weep if she had succeeded. "God knows who to kill and who to make alive", that's not for us to decide.

Takes no responsibility. Not teaching what I believe, but what's in the Bible. No spiritual rule over anybody (except my wife, as head of household (laughing))

Prepared to apologize?

Broadcast pauses. thus ends my summary, got to go.

Yet he's apparently ok with letting people endure it for eternity?

Somebody just asked about the woman who attempted to kill herself and her children.

When confirmed that it was "only attempted" he says, "Oh, that makes me feel better... it's a great relief to me." "I can't be responsible for anybody's life...." Then he made a sexist statement about "spiritually ruling over" his wife.

This guy is just awful.

He's never plainly said it, but he claims there's NO Hell, no conciousness or perception whatsoever after death.

Wha? He says there's no afterlife? But that's what I say..

Should I be following Camping? I really don't want to paint slogans on my car.

Wha? He says there's no afterlife?

He says there's heaven and lack of afterlife. No hell mentioned, yet he often mentioned Satan in shows leading up to May 21, which doesn't make sense.

From the blog:

After being asked again and again if he will apologize for being wrong about May 21, Camping finally does.

"If people want me to apologize, I will apologize...I did not have all that worked out as accurately as I should have had it. That doesn't bother me at all."

Camping reiterates that he still believes Judgment Day came -- just quietly.

Some of these Christians and their lack of a hell are really letting me down these days. Some times you just yearn for a Catholic to banish you to a burning pit forever in the name of their loving god. You know, the classics?

He calls that an apology? Wow.

He was just asked what advice he'd give those who spent all of their money, sold their homes, and quit their jobs. "People cope, pray to god."

Sound advice.

Yep here's the quote:

Today 7:53 PM What About People Who Depleted Life Savings to Promote Camping's Message?

Camping declines to offer them help.

He says the country experienced a recession. "Lots of people lost their homes" and jobs. But he says "they survived."

"People cope. People cope," says Camping.

He says job, housing and investment loses during the recent economic decline are far worse than what "the average Family Radio listener" has experienced.
