Open Forum is scheduled for 8:30 AM Central on Monday - Friday. That means 21 minutes before showtime, but somehow I doubt Harold will be on.

I just tuned in (8:30MT). Sounds pre-recorded:

1) Bible quiz questions
2) Bible quotations (about a new Jerusalem)
3) Soliciting Donations
4) SUVs aren't necessarily better for your kids
5) All interspersed with old-timey music

Well, there's a few minutes of your life you'll never get back. :boggled:

This clown is a black hole on our collective lives, in that simply paying any kind of attention to him/the network drains A) your time, B) your money or C) both.

Humanity is worse off for having obliged him.

Here's a few more minutes of my life: I checked into Glenn Beck too this morning. He's making fun of all these nut cases who make doom predictions.

Uh huh...

I'm only just catching up on all this, but

What?
This whole Rapture nonsense was based on quoting 2 Peter, pretty well known to be a forgery?

Dude, you just love wasting your time! ;)

I'm surprised by their lack of statement. It seems like they hadn't even considered that they could be wrong. They are genuinely shocked a magical sky-man didn't tractor beam everyone into heaven and didn't have a contingency plan. Sad really.

Not surprising. If you'd gotten it that wrong, how would you react?

Gotten what wrong? I mean he deposited the money, right?

What exactly did he get wrong:

Plan A

1. Predict end of world
2. Solicit donations based on prediction
3. Deposit donations

Plan A never required an accurate prediction. That is why there is no Plan B.

Personally I would offer a heartfelt apology and then retire.
Thats what most people should do,
Its the last thing Camping will do, I expect he will try to blame someone else for his lack of judgement, most probably Satan or Allah
;)
