No, it wasn't. People thought the subway was exploding. Many people were knocked off their feet--to the ground. This was... wait, what are you claiming? It was kerosene that leaked down and knocked people off their feet?
I'm sure most steel didn't melt. So what? The official story does not allow for melted steel, hence why dupes are so rabid to deny it. Defending the official story primarily involves desperate attempts to explain away countless anomalies.
The official story just says the melted steel is inconsequential. Explosives would not melt steel and thermite is not explosive. So if said melted steel is from the sub-basement which is what twoofers insinuate then twoofers cannot account for it either. They also insinuate that said melted steel is proof of thermite. So using a thermite claim then it would have to come from an upper floor(s). Since there is no evidence of thermite and no way to account for melted steel and what floor it was from the twoofer theory fails to account for it again.
Isn't it funny how the supposed melted steel is used to prove completely opposite claims?
ETA: Not to mention what purpose would setting bombs off in the basement serve? Since the eventual collapse happened top down blasting the basement served zero purpose (just like it did in the previous bombing attempt).

This bears repeating; how do explosions in the basement initiate collapses at the point where the planes impacted? Apologies if this has already been explained but I don't recall ever seeing any explanation, in this thread or anywhere else.
If I remember. Bill Smith hypothesized that the explosions were to knock out the water mains so the fires could not be fought. You have to give him credit for trying to tie it together.

Fair enough. Still doesn't make a lot of sense but it is at least an attempt at an explanation. tempesta29, do you agree with the "water mains" theory?

tempesta should take thinking on ones feet lessons from bill. The faster one can make stuff up, the better (and by better I mean only more prolific) one will be debating on the truther side of the argument.
Eighty (Count 'Um 80!) Senators Ignored Matthew Naus
The guy in the video below is Matthew Naus confronting Senator Russ Feingold (D-Wisconsin). According to the YouTube description of the video, he was angered by the fact that he sent DVDs and pamphlets to 80 senators and received NO RESPONSE. He went to Washington and distributed DVDs and pamphlets to eighty senate offices and received NOT ONE AKNOWLEDGEMENT! He’s selling the truth and NO ONE IS BUYING!
The video dates from January 2008. I'm sure Mr. Naus is still being ignored.
It’s easy to make fun of these people but take a look at this webpage. There is something ineffably sad about the whole enterprise. Look at the pictures of the demonstrations. No more than 12 or 15 people show up (probably the same people every time). Donations are solicited to buy DVDs, literature, stamps and stationary to get out the TRUTH and no one is listening. Most of the stuff given out probably ends up in the trash of the recipients.
The young people in this movement will probably grow up eventually, get jobs, mates, careers, a life. But these guys are middle-aged and older and have totally bought into a delusional belief system. Some will drift away from this ‘activism,’ others will probably go to their deaths clutching their ‘truths.’
The only humane response possible is pity, yes, but also great, great sadness at the waste of human lives and the time, energy, money and potential being squandered on a delusion.
With regard to crying under stress. When I was on Argonaut one of my Messmates was an AB Radar Tiff. He was worried by heights. He would feel sick at the thought of having to go aloft to work on any of the masthead gear.
He was still on Argonaut when she went to the Falklands and was He was killed in action when the ship was hit by two bombs which detonated two of the Seacat AA Missiles in their Magazine. He died at his action station fighting his ship.
Just because someone has fears about one thing doesn't make them weak when it counts.
People who make claims about how tough and brave they are going to be in any given situation make me laugh.
I have been through air raids, storms, close encounters with Russian Subs in the North Atlantic and a fire between decks. I got through because of training and following procedures and most of the time I was scared.
I have found over the years that the ones full of bravado before the event are the one who end up cowering in the corner.
On a seperate note. Even if there were no Hijackers aboard the planes we haven't heard how they were controlled or who by.
If it was remote control how come that the wquipment to do it wasn't noticed by the ground crews servicing the aircraft?
These are well known aircraft with Type Cetificates. Any extra wiring or strange boxes would have been spotted.
When in the history of demolitions, does explosives melt 2 inch steel?
Thermite doesn't count because it's used as a welding tool for railroads in Europe. Also nano-thermite doesn't count because if it was painted on, it would burn like the skin of the Hindenberg.
In the last witness video I posted, two women described what they thought were bombs in the subway. You can search it if you'd like.
