Every standardized result on this page shows a melting point over 1400 degrees C. I'm not sure what types of glass they're referring to.

Do you have any instance where an office fire has produced molten aluminum, or have led to any reports of pools of molten metal of any kind? There have been much more severe fires than those seen on 9/11, yet I've never heard reports of molten steel.

There could have been plenty of molten glass at ground zero. I don't really doubt that. Then again, people don't normally mistake melting steel beam for a melting glass window.

Eight fire appliances battled the blaze at Union Theological College on Botanic Avenue.

Two firefighters were injured by molten metal inside the premises and were given first aid at the scene. The fire is being treated as suspicious.

This is the report on a firefighter that was killed while fighting a dumpster fire. The dumpster got hot enough to melt aluminum shavings stored in it, and when exposed to water, literally exploded.

I posted that because if there WAS a large molten river of metal (or steel) why was there no reports of tremendous explosions as firefighters were putting the fires out in the following days?

I asked a genuine question. I got an answer. However molten aluminum can only glow brightly under extreme circumstances. Molten steel was discovered weeks after 9/11.

And even more damning, people saw steel beams melting. That's a piece of steel that is melting--molten steel.

There were not one steel beam that was reported by Phillips and Jordan at Fresh Kills.

So, do you know what it is? What is the molten substance?
