Potsing Whiled Runk
Careful A W, you might get yourself Ig-nored.
Absolutely. Wine bottles will melt at around 1300 deg. F. Pane glass will melt at around 1600 deg. F.
Do you have something that says otherwise? Like, maybe some MATH???
Every standardized result on this page shows a melting point over 1400 degrees C. I'm not sure what types of glass they're referring to.
"I saw a silver spot form on his shoulder, then looked up and saw the aluminum gutter was melting onto his back and shoulder," Hansis said.
Chief Tom Dempsey said the firefighter, whose name he could not release, received second-degree burns from the molten metal and was sent to Marietta Memorial Hospital for treatment. Later a second firefighter was also transported to MMH with heat exhaustion.
Both men were treated and released.
Though the Fire Department could not ascertain a cause, those who were inside the building blamed a short circuit in lift number 4 for the fire. However, others said it was a gas cylinder explosion that led to the fire. “There was a huge explosion and I thought it was a cylinder burst,” said Dr S Das, a resident.
Families were stuck inside the building even four hours after the fire started. What made rescue work difficult for the firefighters was that the huge mansion had only one narrow iron staircase ending on the fifth floor, from where a wooden staircase started.
When The Pioneer correspondent followed firefighters, along with a few other media personnel, inside, the stench of molten metal and plastic hung in the air on the Middleton Row side of the building. The media also failed to find even a single firefighting equipment inside the building, which houses about 2,000 people during office hours.
Oh my God!!! Thermite!!!
Two firefighters have been injured while tackling a fire at a theological college in south Belfast.
Eight fire appliances battled the blaze at Union Theological College on Botanic Avenue.
The fire service was contacted at 0700 GMT. Twenty six college residents were moved out of nearby accommodation.
Two firefighters were injured by molten metal inside the premises and were given first aid at the scene. The fire is being treated as suspicious.

Do you have any instance where an office fire has produced molten aluminum, or have led to any reports of pools of molten metal of any kind? There have been much more severe fires than those seen on 9/11, yet I've never heard reports of molten steel.
There could have been plenty of molten glass at ground zero. I don't really doubt that. Then again, people don't normally mistake melting steel beam for a melting glass window.
Oh nice. I guess it does happen. Then again it was silver, not bright glowing yellow.
Really?
What's this?

Not the point. Don't shift the goalposts.
You asked for molten metal at a fire scene.
Now, what say you?
It's NOT a steal beam. Nobody mistook a melting piece of a window pane for a melting steel beam. What do you think?
I asked a genuine question. I got an answer. However molten aluminum can only glow brightly under extreme circumstances. Molten steel was discovered weeks after 9/11.
And even more damning, people saw steel beams melting. That's a piece of steel that is melting--molten steel.
There were not one steel beam that was reported by Phillips and Jordan at Fresh Kills.

That's Beaker from The Muppet Show.

How so?
BTW, What is the molten substance?
