Continuation - Discussion of the Amanda Knox case

With all the gun nuts in the USA, the burgular would be half in the window when he saw a smiling skin-head with a gun. The next thing he knew he would be recalling the dream experience to a psychologist or Scientologist in his next life.

First being shot and then subjected to the company & 'expertise' of a Scientologist.
I'm not a big fan of burglars but that seems to breach both parts of the 'cruel & unusual punishment' safeguard.

I happened to be inside my premises asleep when i was burgled, so I simply don't buy your citations from the imaginary 'burglar's handbook'.

If I had happened to get up that could have turned out very nastily for me given that the burglar had taken one of my large kitchen knives to cut some tangled up cables so that he could steal my XBox 360. Another burglar who hadn't read the manual I guess.

He didn't chuck a bloody great big rock through your window you see if you were home then?

It's below the road level, and looking from the car driving on the right side of the road you wouldn't see much if anything.
Here's a pic I just snatched from PMF :) :

Here's how it looks from the road, again:

And that's how much of the cottage you see from the right side of the road

I don't think Rudy had to be afraid of being spotted from the cars.

Why would a car driving on the right hand side of the road not see much of anything (being the right hand side of the road is only a couple of metres over not a hundred)? What's the vast obstacle for a car on the right side of the road?

Rudy Guede's version of events has been rejected by three levels of Italian courts as false. Why would you support it?

Guede got 24 years less the 1/3rd discount for a fast track trial which converts it to 16. Since that's the same base level sentence as Knox and Sollecito, that's clearly the level that the Italian courts are applying to this crime on an even handed basis. I think that's a plenty long sentence myself. Others disagree. In the US in many States, all 3 might have received the death penalty. A barbaric penalty outlawed in almost all of the rest of the civilised world.

Let's not start the anti-American stuff for Christ's sake. I doubt if the freak-show witnesses and comedy scientists would have survived for long in an American court, not to mention the other bizarre aspects of this case.

Thomas Junta killed my friend in a hockey rink in 2002. He was just released this past summer. He was surrounded by eye-witnesses - including his children and my friend's children - when he administered the fatal blows.

So Rudy wasn't wearing gloves? I know little about burglaries, but i would imagine that wearing gloves might be an action item in the burglars' handbook. That way you can avoid annoyances like cutting yourself on broken glass or leaving fingerprints.

Are gloves beneficial for burglars needing to get a good grip while climbing sheer walls? I would have thought butter fingers would be the last thing Rudy would have wanted if he tried to make that climb.

No, I believe it was mentioned and quoted from during the trial, to AK's disadvantage.

Do you know in reference to what it was mentioned during the trial? Was it quoted during her testimony? Do you know what the document contains and where a hard copy of it can be found?

No burglar broke into Tramontano's home, he made the whole thing up, this was established in Rudy's trial and Micheli threw him out. Therefore, it's a bit silly to be quoting his claims as an argument for how burglaries are or are not done.
<snip>
Hey Fulcanelli,
I find it interesting that you say that Mr. Tramontano made up a story that involved Rudy Guede breaking into his place of residence while he and his woman slept.

Since you seem to know a bit about this matter, might you answer a question or 2 for me? You have kindly done so in the past...

Did Mr. Tramontano come forward and report this crime of breaking+entering before evidence was found of Rudy Guede being inside the bedroom of Meredith Kercher which then came to light by newspaper and television reporting?

Did Mr. Tramontano come forth on his own or did he do so at the behest of a newspaper or television reporter,
as I have heard it be the case with some of the "Super Witnesses" in the sensationally shocking brutal murder case of Miss Meredith Kercher?

In Los Angeles, filing a false police report is a crime.
Do you know if that is the case in Italy?
If so, and Mr. Tramontano made it up, as you wrote above, was he ever charged with filing a false police report?
Hmmm, I wonder...

PS-If Rudy Guede did indeed enter Mr. Tramontano's residence as he and his gal slept,
one might wonder, with all of the recent discussion here, if he did so after 1st casing the joint and then knockin' on the front door door or ringin' the doorbell...

Mole already whacked. Rudy didn't need to climb up a sheer wall. He most likely swung across from the planter. But if you watch the videos Katody posted, you would see it's easy to run up a sheer 12 foot wall. Have you watched that video?

Wasn't the conclusion of the 4 second access one that maybe Raffaele returned to the apartment after the murder if it was human interaction? They also missed the Naruto file as pointed out in Raffaele's appeal (quote I posted earlier today).

The police computer experts have shown they are not so expert. The additional information developed since the filing of the appeal and the additional appeal documents on the screen-saver logs is also worth looking into.

No they didn't. The Naruto file is NOT NEW. It's so old in fact, the defence tried to argue with it in the pre-trial under Judge Micheli. Rejected.

If she really was the killer, relishing every moment as she thrust the deadly knife into her housemate's neck, wouldn't she have perhaps tried to play things down a bit the next day?
Well "playing things down" was never quite amanda's style was it?
On the contrary her behavior in court resembled that of a Hollywood starlet.

You credit her with far more savvy, brains and basic respect to play things down, even as she was supposedly grieving the death of her roommate.

From the position of the lawyer in the above photo, do you think this is a plausible way to climb in?

If the shutters were open it is probably easy.

0) From the starting position of the lawyer, pull the rock out of the backpack, smash the window and open.
1) Grab the open shutter on the left with the left hand.
2) Grab the sill with the right hand.
3) Put the right foot along side the wood on the bottom window (where the scuff mark is)
4) Swing the left leg up to the sill (have to be flexible this is a near split)
5) Pull up sliding left leg inside window to crotch.
6) Slide in.

1 thing you fail to add in.

Rudy was caught in possession of stolen goods from an office that was broke into by gaining entry through a 2nd story window. This shows at the very least he knew about breaking into buildings by gaining access by climbing burglar bars.
Where as if you CLIMB the balcony you expose yourself to the people living at the apartment. There 8 people living in those 2 apartments. 4 upstairs and 4 downstairs. You would have to check(case) upstairs and downstairs before ever starting your break in. Thus knocking on the door downstairs to check and see if your friends are home and then tossing a rock through the window of the upstairs apartment is the most logical choice.

No, it shows he was in possession of stolen goods. Nothing more.

Hi there SomeAlibi,
You mentioned some of what Rudy Guede said in a post this morning at 6:58am Pacific Coast USA time to present your negative image that Amanda Knox stole Meredith Kercher's $$$.

I only mentioned Rudy Guede's statements to the police,
which you know I indeed truthfully re-posted
in the same context as you did, paintin' Rudy Guede as something he is not,
a luver, not a killer.

Guede got 24 years less the 1/3rd discount for a fast track trial which converts it to 16. Thanks for the refresher course, SomeAlibi!
I know the special discount given if you are smart enough to take a "fast track trial" in Italy.
As you seem to be a lawyer specializin' in representing burglarers, I bet that you too would have advised Rudy Guede to take a "fast track trial" correct?

I wonder though if Mr. Kercher really, really feels that 16 years is a long enough prison sentence for the conviction of A GUY
who touched his daughter in way that left DNA on her genitalia when she died.
I personally do not, and I do not even now his daughter.
But Meredith Kercher did not deserve to have happen what Rudy Guede did, without a doubt, to her that night she died, in my humble opinion!

Peace to you, SomeAlibi.
