And the destruction of Seoul and Incheon (at the very least) is better?
so NK has won, they are untouchable? Surrender to the new overlord.

they had the Taliban, sure not comparable to a nuclear army like in NK.
so NK has won, they are untouchable? Surrender to the new overlord.
Yes, there's that, but NK doesn't need nukes. They have a perfectly capable standing army.
Don't be intentionally dense. How will your proposed military action result in something better than the current situation?
They have a nuclear army?![]()
srtange, in Iraq we ware not so scared he would use his stockpiles of WMD's........
How will doing nothing result in something better than the current situation?
Yonhap reports that hours after the incident, North Korea's leader, Kim Jong-il, and his youngest son, Kim Jong-un, toured a soy sauce factory and a medical school in Pyongyang.

I would say that the world and warfare have changed significantly since the 40's, while I'm not sure the NK military has changed. Substantially-sized standing army, certainly. Capable? In today's world, not so sure.
but 3 million death to starvation in NK are ok?
But you think invading North Korea, a society which has never really known modern life, by blowing hell out of them, which you'd have to do to conquer it, when there's no existential external threat except the one we ourselves pose to the regime...
Did you miss that part in the OP where North Korea just shelled a South Korean island, causing death and injuries?
It's amazing DC is lustily clamoring for war with three peace symbols in his sig that lead to concerts put on for peace in Palestine.
What is even more amazing, is his lusty clamoring for war seems to be based on little more than for thrill and ego.
But why you would think it is for thrill and Egois beyond me.
Yeah...anyway.
North Korea's military is killing South Koreans. It's sinking their ships, it's shelling their towns, and their people are dying. It's really easy to yammer high-horsedly about "turning the other cheek" when it's not your citizens getting killed over and over again. While it's certainly true that more people tend to die during wartime than not, if South Korea decides that a future without a North Korea to continually potshot a dozen civilians here, a couple-dozen more there every month over the next 20 years is worth fighting for, that's their prerogative.
