2010 Election Results

IL? You sure about that?

I'm not so sure about IL, because there are still about 15-20% of the precincts in Chicago and Cook County that have yet to report, and they contribute a huge amount to the total vote. And they're breaking for Giannoulias, big time.

It's going to be close. I can definitely see the lawyers getting involved in the IL Senate race before too long, especially because the winner takes over the seat immediately.

ABC called the governor's race in Colorado for the Democrat. Wow, I'm actually a bit surprised by that result.

Now I'm keeping my eyes on the Illinois governor's race. I think Quinn (D) is going to pull it off, but not by much.

Toomey's pulled ahead of Sestak in PA (51-49)

Okay, I'm not surprised that Toomey will likely win, but I am surprised at how close it is (was).

It looks like the mentally unstable Independent Scott Lee Cohen is pulling votes away from Brady.

79 % Precincts Reporting and still 52-48 for Sestak. Somebody pinch me.

Consider yourself pinched. Toomey up 33,000 with 82% reporting. Remember, the urban areas report first, so Democrats tend to do better early in the evening than they end up.

Yup, I think that could very well be the deciding factor here. Ironic, since Cohen started off as a Democrat.

Actually, there's more of us Kansas dem's than you think... we actually have a majority in Wyandotte and Douglas counties (but admittedly nowhere else in the state).

Oh I was just being silly. I am in Kansas myself. If was able to vote I would probably lean very hard to the Democrats

Whether mid-terms or presidential election, the whole Senate is never up for election at one time.

LOL that was the bit I forgot. It is the same in Australia, so I really should have known better :o
