Wrong.

Putting down a truther does require knowledge of the topic, which is easily comprehended by elementary school students nation wide.

Sadly, this seems to bust the hump of all 9/11 truth scholars.

'truthers' are a punchline, a coda, a topic for ridicule. I wouldn't be so chuffed for my 15 minutes of fame if it included 1 second of stunned silence and the remaining 14:59 of scorn.

He recognises pompous, self-important, ill-informed fools because they're his stock-in-trade. And it isn't just now that he's laughing and making jokes; it's been for years because the 'truth' movement is the proverbial gift that keeps on giving.

'truthers' know nothing about 9/11 and wilfully keep it that way pretending to believe in all sorts of special foolishness that the vast, vast majority recognise for the snake oil it is. Turn off your computer and you'll soon realise that 'truthers' aren't some latter day chosen people; they're just ill-informed goofs. Mind you, them spending 40 years in the wilderness does sound appealing on some level. :D

Is there some rule about using a real person's name when you're not that person? He's clearly not trying to impersonate Mr. Kurzberg, but still...

No, there's no "rule" about using a real person's name, even the name of an obscure person like Silvan Kurzberg, and there's no "rule" about referring to Jewish comedians by their "real" (i.e., given "Jewish") names either but generally a person who consistently does the former is, dollars to doughnuts, an anti-Semite. The use of the name Kurzberg (a Mossad agent according to the truthers) as pseudonym is the cincher.
