And what does this have to do with the fact that you claim it wouldn't pick up an explosive boom, but yet, in the video, you can hear the collapse.

You ability to get it wrong is amazing.
I said a directional would pick up very little from the side but Ashley's mic did pick up the sounds of the explosions. That's why she suddenly turned her head around and said "This is it".

You just posted the mic didn't pick up the explosions, it could only pick up directional from a few inches away.
Make your mind up. you twist and turn without realising it.

Good idea. Look up some of his demolitions. Most were factory chimneys but he has demolished other building as well (before he became a general purpose celeb)
he uses a controled fire to demolish them, no explosives.

There are no eyewitnesses reports or
audio-video recordings of noises consistent
in timing, loudness or brisance with
man-made demolition.

There are no injuries or deaths with
symptoms consistent with man-made
explosions. There are lots of injuries
consistent with burns caused by of jet fuel.


There are no eyewitnesses to the collapse that have joined the "truth movement."

Ask yourself why.

A firefighter rushed by them, sounds like there was a very in-depth interview there, don't it? :rolleyes: Also note the it is NOT a direct quote, so we don't know what the fireman said exactly, now do we?

The last bolded part sounds like the the result of the second tower coming down. Since WTC 7 was still standing, it's highly unlikely (read impossible) for the smoke to be the result of WTC 7 going down.

The SM-57 is a cardioid mic and only weakly directional.
It's only 5db down on the side and only 20db down at the null point and it's a very sharp null.

That's nowhere near enough to mask the +30db blast or more generated by man-made demolition. Given all the buildings that would reflect the sound of a blast, even the most directional mic would record the distinctive sound of man-made demolition

What makes you think there was a firefighter? The report was bogus. NO 50 story building went down.

I use these mics for recording and gigging. There is a huge difference. Both mics are directional. The SM57 and 58 are the same mic inside, it's just the case that makes the 57 much more directional.

That's nowhere near enough to mask the +30db blast or more generated by man-made demolition.

Once again, you have not a clue how much the sound can be muffled. It's impossible to calculate how loud the explosions were from the small amount picked up by Ashley's mic.
