I like the principled "I hate what it stands for." Yeah, stupid public services! Who wants a police force, fire brigade, refuse collection service and clean streets? We should all just be free to sort these things out ourselves! We could, like, organise it so there'd be some guys who looked out for other people, some other guys who put out fires, and so on. Then we could maybe collect money off people every so often to pay for those guy's time, and the equipment they need. That would be a much better system.

Hey wait we could then form up a group of people to work for our general betterment. We could freely choose them and have them administer the monies we have from Sledge's idea.......wow this is such a powerful idea I wonder why no one has ever tried it.........

I expect there's some sort of convenient word we could use for this assembly of people administering these things. A gathering?

And then the payments, I expect, could be called, I don't know ... gathering payments?

Which tax are you talking about ? If you have contracted with them to pay tax you must pay tax. Is that difficult to accept ? If you have declined their offer of business and have said so, you are, under the law, not liable for it. Because you have declined their contract. Does that sound fair and reasonable to you ?

So, unless you can be specific you have the best answer your question deserves.

I hate the council tax. I've spent the last 19 years avoiding it like the plague mostly because I just couldn't afford it but also because I despise what it stands for and the way it basically robs people.

Over the years the odd bailiffs have turned up at my address's to approach me personally but thanks to living in rural properties, I've managed to on all but one of those occasions, not actually be in by the time they get to the door.

Anyway, the point of this post is to ask if any of you know whether there's any way I can fight back on the grounds that they've allowed the debt to get this size and go for so long? I've always been in the area and this has covered 4 houses over the last 19 years. I've had thousands of letters in that time

Yes, they've "allowed" the debt to get that large by doing nothing except sending "thousands of letters" around that you've steadfastly ignored, and by sending around actual people whom you make a point of not speaking to. And now you want to fight back on the grounds that they didn't try hard enough to collect the debt.....

Hes also on freeman truth movement as freeman bill but its down at the moment due to it being reported for mass mailing.

I'm not sure he's herald holmes on ickes site, holmes seems idiotic and especially seems er....... ok he might be holmes.
I was gonna join the tpuc site but i couldn't take that level of nonsense, i know that ickes site is the same but you gotta love david icke, even if it's just because he can get £80 a ticket for his shows. Harris only charges a fiver to see him perform. He should charge more considering he thinks he's jesus. I bet you didn't know he can turn apples into cider.

Their website is in fact illegal because they don't provide an address for service (e-commerce regulations 2002) & if anyone can be bothered they can make a criminal complaint.

The class action is absurd & fundamentally misguided. the International Court of Justice only has jurisdiction to hear disputes between states & not private citizens.

In my opinion these guys are 'fathers for justice' style loonies & their assistance in acase would be of very limited utility.
