Hypocrite, not exactly a legal term, but yet again, inapplicable in this case.
Nonesense. I'm using the term 'stone' since it doesn't make judgements on size as pebble does. Yet you seem inclined to use the truncated industrial term of Kies.
For the rest gloss over...

An interesting question by itself, I think. On one level, several young Islamic kids threw rocks (probably small but perhaps not) at some Jewish dancers of uncertain origin (Germany or Israel or someplace else). It was a horrible action but still it is below the level of violence or consequence of something that is likely to be reported outside the locality in Germany. Nonetheless the incident seems to be a significant event in that it is probably representative of other similar kinds of events in Germany between immigrant Palestinians and Jewish people.
Some things that have been or might be discussed about the incident that seem somewhat interesting to me:
1. How did this event gain enough international exposure that it came to be the subject of a thread on JREF?
2. Is the event actually representative of the kinds of tension between Jews and Palestinian immigrants in Germany or was it an isolated event?
3. What role did the Palestinian/Israeli conflict play in creating the atmosphere in the Palestinian community that some kids were moved to commit this act of violence?
4. What were the actual facts concerning the incident? How big were the projectiles? How intensely were they thrown? Was it discernible whether the attack was an attempt to injure people or was the attack more of an attempt to harass the dancers.
5. Were the kids interviewed? Did the give any indication as to what motivated them to do this if they were interviewed and their statements have been made public?
Title is stoned, which even if only several stones were thrown, would suffice for using the term stoned, unless they were all smokin massive blunts. If the title was 'stoning', which is a form of ancient execution, then I would have issues with it. But this simply isn't the case.you are an hypocrit.
you have no trouble with the titel using the word stoning, even as there was no stoning. but you have huge troubles with my use of my mother language. because i dont use the term you would like me to use, which you think is correct.
Stoning isnt correct either. nobody got stoned.........

The issue is using the full term, not your stubborness in using the truncated, industrial term (of which you provided an industrial brochure pdf to boot), of 'stone' which by itself does not indicate size as pebble does. 'Pebble' is a subset of 'stone' and does indicate size. (A difference of .07 and 2.5 inches is quite a difference)
So no hypocrisy, try again.
I can keep stating the same core issues until you finally address them.
When you stop providing a brochure of the industrial firm when referring to 'kies' perhaps?
Kies is not an industrial term............................
why dont you quit making things up?
You're funny. You again forgot the -stein in keiselstein, as stated in the article.
Kies, der; -es, (Arten: ) -e [1: mhd. kis = grobkörniger od. steiniger Sand, H. u.; ...

They were liberal jews from Hannover but were announced as performing "Israeli dances". The kids (between 9 and 15) threw "Kieselsteine", which my translator translates to "pebbles".
why do you always feel that need to put words in other peoples mouth?
or let it look like they say something they clearly did not say?
straw fetish?
These stones don't look like pebbles to me:

Are those photos of this event?
Where did you find that description, using "pebbles", if that's what "Kieselsteine" means? Seems pretty deceptive.
Everywhere Muslims live with non-Muslims, there is conflict. The bigger the Muslim population, the bigger the conflict.

Die Steine stammen offenbar von einem großen Haufen kleinerer und größerer Kiesel, der auch am Dienstag noch am Rand des Sahlkampmarktes lag.
1) You seem to not get sarcastic humor in English very oftenWhat is your native language?
2) Maybe people are starting to put words in her mouth because she never answered the question of the relevance of the nationalities of the stone-throwers - a question asked of her several times.
i dont know what the relevance is to her, to me it is relevant in attempting to understand where that hatred comes from.
in the german press they are descibed as Kieselsteine, which translates to gravel or pebble.
btw, nice homepage you linked to.
It's obviously relevant to understanding the event. I don't care to explain it to them, davefoc has posted some good summaries.
btw DC, seen that HAZ uses "Kiesel" too? bigjelmaprostein won't be amused....![]()
