USA to collapse by December, 2010

Also, didn't they said that USA will merged into Canada and Mexico for one large country.

Anyone who thinks that Canada would willingly and happily join the U.S. is someone who clearly does not understand Canadian politics.

I, for one welcome our new Canadian overlords. Maybe they'll make it legal to grow weed.

Well, if nothing else, at least you'll get a financial system that won't have banks collapsing left and right and requiring bailouts to the tune of several hundred billion dollars.

'Cause, when you've got Manitoba, why buy a cheap imitation?

Actually, I was planning on pawning Manitoba and Saskaetewmandoe (Mostly because, how the **** do you spell that anyways?!?!?). Not we'll need the cash, but I figure someone will be desperate enough to finally take them off our hands!

If the USA Corporation collapses, does that mean the Canadian Corporation will come in and buy us up at pennies on the dollar?

Don't you know? The world is hinged on the USA. USA goes the world follows. SPLAT!

Meanwhile in the history section JREF resident Neo Nazi, 9/11 Investigator, makes his own prophecies of doom based upon the fact the US is not a 100% Pure Aryan nation...

The mind truly boggles,at the bigotry, the stupidity, and the sheer batcrap craziness. Of course what can you expect from a Holocaust Denier and constant apoligist for Nazi Germany?

I visited the ESA space center the other day in Noordwijk/Netherlands and noticed that from now on all cargo transported into space will be done with Russian/European rockets. The US has nothing left and probably never will again put anything into space. Too busy paying for health care for all these illegals. And as a rule the Brasils of this world do not have space programs. In the mean time smart rich people are leaving the US.

Could you please clarify this point about the American space program? Please forgive my ignorance (plus I'm under the weather hence my lack of Googlefu'). Are we focusing less on space and focusing elsewhere? I don't mean in the direction he implied, but just elsewhere.

You got to admit the image of these idiots starving to death amongst piles of shiny gold no one will accept in a survivalist barter society is compelling. I think it perfectly illustrates the lack of planning and foresight amongst such people.

I probably have something better than gold in a collapsed society. Earthworms. Earthworms and veggie scraps plus turn into wonderful soil then some edible food with just a touch of water.

Point of order: You can eat gold. That's Goldschlager's USP :D

ETA: Don't know how long you'd survive on an all gold diet though.

About as long as you'd survive eating nothing. Gold has no nutrional value.

Well before we take over, I only have one thing to ask you yankees...

Do you prefer "Canmerico" or "Canmexica"...lol

TAM:D

I think Mexanida has a better ring to it. It also sounds like a heartburn medicine. It doesn't get any better than that.

deep impact wasnt a post-apocalyptic movie, but of course the rest of your point stands :)

gold would only remain valuable if its just the US that collapses, and europe and china still have a strong economy. which of course makes me wonder why instead of stockpiling gold and guns, why not just move to europe?
I would say gold would have value if an incomplete collapse occures -- IOW, federal government ceases to exist thus making paper money worthless, but enough order and economic activity remains for continental (or at least regional) trade. Traders will want some more or less universal medium of exchange, and gold fits the bill.

But this sort of collapse will not make gold-hoarders king of the hill. More likely, their hoards would be forcibly confiscated by whatever local government emerges, so it could pay for whatever supplies are no locally available, but some trader is willing to bring in.

Not that "collapse goldbugs" ever think this through.
