In Hawaii SPAM holds a place of honor. A fired slice of SPAM in Saimin is standard as is it also for the traditional (modern) Hawaiian Breakfast.

Until I saw that you added(modern) I had this vision of Polynesian villages greeting Cook with cans of Spam.

Oh, and glad to see Gerald's reduced to flogging his nonsense on RT. A few years ago, he was on mere unheard of news outlets. A decade ago, he was actually quoted in serious magazines and newspapers. It seems that time hasn't been good to the man.

I'm still reading his crap from the 90s when he had us all developing home gardens to feed the family. I wasn't clear back then - I really thought he meant it to be in an effort to "go green" and be more responsible. Now? Not so sure! Maybe that was a precursor to his gloom and doom (recent) predictions.

Is he still claiming that he doesn't actually "predict", but is a social scientist?
