Actually it was only dismantled fully in 1973.

In any case what is ancient policy in Australia is current policy in Israel.
 
Got a link for this active policy in Israel? As I'm living in Israel and never heard of it, would be great if the loony toon can point it out....

Where I am from we don't have an ethnically based immigration policy. If Israel wants to have an ethnically based immigration policy that is their business, but they shouldnt pretend it isn't, as this less than stellar intellect tried to do

wow what country is that?
we do have ethnically based immigration policy. and i thought its about every country on this planet that has this.

some Nationalities have it easy to stay here as it is unsave to send them back, other dont have that.

Then presumably it is based on safety, not on their nationality.

For instance you do not say "we don't accept Muslims".........yet.

If a muslim has correct qualifications, finds a job and gets a work permit, gets that work permit extended annually for 10 years and after that time meets the approval of the Gemeinde, you will generously allow him/her a permanent residence permit.

I am not sure what this muslim has to do after that to become a citizen. Probably eat nothing but rösti for a year and dress like William Tell.

But technically, there is no ethnic based barrier to this person.

and Israel has Ethnic groups they dont let in? only based on their ethnicy?
 
(Shrug) the law of return treats all Jews as citizens of Israel if they so desire (barring special cases such as criminals, etc.) This is no more "racist" than the US giving a visa to someone born abroad to American citizens, because Judaism is a nationality as well as a religion or an ethnic group. In fact Jews come in all forms and colors, and belong to all races, including Chinese and Blacks.

The law of return, incidentally, decides who a "Jew" is for immigration purposes based deliberately on the Nuremberg laws (with the addition of someone who married a Jew abroad as a "Jew" for immigration purposes, so as to not break up families). The idea is that if someone were Jewish enough for the Nazis to genocide, they are Jewish enough for Israel to give citizenship as a member of the Jewish state. A strange thing to do if the holocaust never happened, but hey, you never know with those crazy Jews. Must have been an attempt to entice those missing millions of Jews to come to Israel after the holocaust, which for some reason failed, as millions remained missing.

But it's amusing to see those who support the Nazis declare they are shocked -- SHOCKED! -- with Israeli "racism". If all the lies they tell about Israel were true, they should support Israel for its clear-headed understanding of the good of racism and ethnic cleansing, not condemn it, according to their own standards.

Nope.

Not everybody receives automatic citizenship, but everybody can apply to get one. Just for example, only recently quite a few Black Sudanese Muslims got Israeli visas as refugees from the Jihadis' genocide.

there is only 1 race, the human race.

Jews are an ethnical group but also a religion group.
