If you had the slightest understanding of the fossilization process you might understand why this is so as well as why it is not evidence for a global flood. Have you ever noticed that most of the depositions in which fossils are found are associated with ancient rivers and flood plains or ancient seas? Have you ever noticed that there are a huge number of distinct sedimentary deposits with fossils of types specific to certain times and locations? If there had been a global flood covering all the land of the Earth we would see a single layer of deposition with the most inclusive mish-mash of fossils and artifacts you can imagine. But we don't see that. That is the point that you continue to ignore.
You've already admitted your ignorance of science, yet you keep attempting to make scientific arguments. Maybe you should actually read some scientific texts on fossilization.
The creation of fossils is a rare occurrence for bones.
If it were common we would be knee deep in fossil bones and the percentage for that so far is very low.
The picture is the layer that we are looking at, the only one near the top of the column that shows sudden extinction, from that layer is mans fossils and also from the next one down before that there weren't no men/woman.
The evidence is all the sand on the top layers of the geological column, just because men wrote it was global doesn't mean it was.
The sand on top of the black mat couldn't possibly have been put there in 12,000 years.
Not with out some kind of great amount of water action.
Because it is everywhere even though it varies in depth/thickness.
Have you ever seen the ocean during a storm, pretty cloudy isn't it?
That's the sand being stirred up. It takes several days to settle and to clear again.
It's the only marker there is, it had to be the event described, global or not is irrelevant.
I think Noah was given all he needed aboard the ark to keep busy but not to be overwhelmed.
It was a cooperation of God and Noah and his family.
What God did during all this is unknown, for now, as far as all the kinds that survived?
If certain bacteria and parasites were eliminated then we would be knee deep in carcasses that couldn’t fossilize and turn into the earthly constituents needed to replenish the Earth.
To say they the righteous had clap and such is absolutely ridicules.
Those diseases are caused by future generations falling away and returning to sin.
The trees that are the oldest date back to about this time too, 8,000 to 12,000.
Below New Mexico, California, Colorado.
Sand, mat, sand, mat.
All within 40,000 years or so, two extictions covred by loose sand.....
