Evidence for why we know the New Testament writers told the truth.

My first few multi-quotes posts were realized by quoting, copying the text, going backward, quoting, pasting the text and then copying the totality again...

Then I discovered the mutliquote option and my life changed. Thank you multi-quote option!

Hmmm, weird...it works like that for me. It took me forever to figure out what the multi-quote button was - I kept trying to use "quote" for everything, and of course it took me right to the "reply" page.
.
Just tested again -- clicking the quote mark button on many posts and then "reply" on the last does diddly.

Same process and "quote" ( not the quote mark ) on the last, and there are all the very intelligent responses, ready to be quoted.

It must be divine intervention, this doesn't work if quoting Doc.

No, wait, I specified *intelligent* responses, that explains it

I've learned something from this thread. I know how to use the multi-quote function now.

... which clearly proves that the New Testament writers told the truth [/Doc]

WOW it works!! The power!! Today JREF tomorrow the world HAAAAAA

Thanks for the multi-quote info. Ever get the feeling you'll be a "noob" your whole life? Oh well...

When achieves the state of true know-it-all, why continue?
The surprises the new day brings.. :)
Even though getting up at all may the be highlight of any one day.

Oh, hells: I recently had to ask how to get to the first new post in a thread -- I figure I'll stop learning new stuff about six days after the coroner starts cutting
.

Of course this is false, just like it was false when Pax said the same thing many months ago.

http://www.internationalskeptics.com/forums/showthread.php?postid=4633623#post4633623

ETA: Excuse me Pax did not say the same thing, he falsely called me a liar. You just said my post was a falsehood.

At the expense of what little remains of my sanity, I have reviewed the quoted post. It refers to two older posts about the authorship of the gospels of Matthew and John.

You are mysteriously silent on the points raised by Lothian and Hokulele in the posts following yours; namely, that the website you quote from demonstrates that sections of the respective gospels show that they were not written by Matthew and John. Also, the only point in your post about Matthew that is not complete and utter BS heresay is refuted by jeremyp.

Another tick for the "caught Doc lying" tally, if anyone's counting...

You know what we'd need? We need a Doc award (or maybe name it a Sleepy or Dopey award). Just for him.

Each month we'd vote for Doc's most ignorant or blatantly dishonest or most cirular post... (we could create categories, albeit vote for the worst post overall).

That way, Doc will be able to refer not only to the number of post he wrote, but to the number of awards he won!

As I've said many times, the attack the messenger mode always heats up when I bring in some important posts. Must have been the Professor Thomas Arnold quote, or Professor the Simon Greenleaf quote.

Thomas Arnold (of Oxford) wrote a 3 volume book on the history of Rome. His statement was:

"I know of no one fact in the history of mankind which is PROVED BY BETTER AND FULLER EVIDENCE of every sort, than the great sign which God has given us that Christ died and rose again from the dead."

The man said what he said, I can't prove him wrong in his statement.

The only historical evidence I know of the American Revolution is what I've read in a few history books. I've read 27 books of the New Testament, and I know at least 42 US Presidents have claimed to be Christian. To be honest I've read more historical evidence for Christ than I have for the American Revolution..

ETA: And I cannot remember reading any eyewitnesses to the American Revolution that specifically talked about the American Revolution. I doubt if any of the history books I've read that talked about the Amer. Rev. were written by eyewitnesses to it.
DAMNIT! That'll teach me to take the weekend off to prepare to watch Team USA beat Team Canada in hockey. <sigh>

First, yer a jackass.
B) Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Geo. Washington, Abigail Adams, Dolly Madison, James Madison. What do they all have in common in re: your added point? They were all eyewitnesses who WROTE ABOUT THE FRELLING AMERICAN REVOLUTION....jackass.
iii) Most of the history books that you, and most of us, have read are secondary accounts, to be sure. But a good one (like "Alexander Hamilton" by Ron Chernow) will be based on primary evidence, like the subject's own letters. In fact, "American Aurora" is almost exclusively made up of newspaper clippings of the day. Since it's a book about the role of newspapers in colonial/post-revolution America, they would be considered primary sources.
Fourth, there is no fourth point in this diatribe.
e) Go read something besides your heavily biased, historically inaccurate, belief-supporting crap. If you want to know what Thomas Jefferson thought about something, he probably wrote about it, go find a decent copy of his letters (there's a number of editions that will fit the bill here) and read. Hell, you can learn about whaling in the 18th century by doing that.
VI) Stop being a jackass. Seriously. You've been given enough hints at this point that to continue presenting the same information, the same useless sources, the same tired arguments just goes to further your reputiation as a liar and a jackass. It'll take less time to loose the jackass monicker, so I'd recommend going after that one first.

As has been pointed out to you before, I am the only one who will EVER attack you. If you think you're being attacked, look at the nickname, if it's not "kmortis" then you're not being attacked, ok? Is that so staggeringly simple that even your foetid mass called a brain can handle it?

Jackass.
