Swine Flu in Southwest USA = Excuse for Martial Law

This is yet further proof that CT'ers appear to WANT BAD ***** to happen so they can eek out a little attention for themselves.
Most sane rational humans do things like go to college, get a good job, have a family etc to feel good about themselves.
CT'ers take the route less traveled and hope for death and destruction to occur to feel good about themselves.

I'd be willing to bet that, for many of them, the reason for this is that they feel that they can't get anywhere or be anything in current society. They hope for some major upheaval of "the system" so that they can finally step up and make something of themselves.

I completely agree with you..I have never, ever, seen any group of people so absolutely hopeful and wishful for doom, gloom, and destruction except CTers.

They have failed in the current social order, so they hope for its destruction.

Is a dirty bomb really that dangerous? Even if it were packed with radioactive material, an explosion is not really the best way to disperse it. The effects wouldn't carry all that far with the heavy atomic weight of the particles involved.

To bring myself back WRT to the OP, a virus in its natural habitat is far deadlier. I think first responders could mitigate a dirty bomb attack very quickly once a CBR attack had been confirmed. Naturally occurring viruses are far more nasty IMHO.

It depends on your source of radiation. How does this relate to swine flu?

It was brought up earlier in the thread. I got lazy with my quote tags.

In context of the comparison of the deadliness of the two. IMHO a naturally occurring pandemic will always be worse.

End of tangent.

So it's no longer possible to support Obama without also being in absolute love with him as some sort of "savior?"

Say what?

I think some people live in a world in which only caricatures exist.

An ironic and hypocritical manner of thinking for people who claimed to be opposed to fascism.

Fascism and Communism rock for people who like fascism and communism. There is no point in opposing mass political movements like that IMO. Join the movement or get out of their way is probably the safest advice! The left wing or right wing of the allegorical phoenix is probably not the ultimate goal of the dialectical process anyway.

I'd amend that: they feel that they can't get anywhere or be anything in current society, because The Man is keeping them down. Therefore, the destruction of "the system" would mean that they automagically gain a place among the top dogs in whatever replaces it.

Yes "Ordo Ab Chao" (order out of chaos) in a revolution and the pig swine (no flu) took over in the "Animal Farm" fable but they turned out to be just as bad as the last lot (the humans).

BTW, those FEMA camps are not the same camps you conjure up when you hear the word. The camps in Katrina were temporary safe havens for people who lost their homes.

You never answred my questions:

1. Do you think George Bush should be killed?

2. Where is your evidence that we were conditioned to love Obama?

3. Am I an Obamabot?

In any future "crisis" what makes you think that future FEMA camps would not be marketed to the public, who are using them, in any other way? What kind of FEMA camp do you conjure up in your head? I would certainly want to market FEMA camps as delightful places if I were in charge of trying to get people to go inside them.

Certainly not! Nobody should ever be killed, disgusting idea!

IMO political candidates are just advertising, spin and PR products. Since he won the election a sufficient number of "customers" were self-evidently "sold" on his "product". Why do people choose any brand over another competing brand? The cheapest toothpaste probably does a good job, but that is not necessarily what motivates people to choose a different more expensive brand.

If you are asking the question, probably not IMO, but how could I possibly be expected to know (or even care about) the answer to that question anyway?

Daily Show nailed the CT on this:

Obviously because they're in on it!! They even used the phrase "Swine Flu is an excuse for martial law".

Have they managed to shoot John Oliver between the eyes with a silver bullet yet?

British people have been told not to travel to Mexico to catch piggy flu. But Mexicans can still fly to the UK bringing terrorist piggy flu with them! Well they do so at their own risk because the British Police shoot Spanish speaking people like Jean Charles de Menezes who "look like terrorists" first, and then ask questions later.

I posed this same question to my truther friend a couple of weeks back. He was going on about something and usually I just let him talk because he is too far to bring back at this point, but I finally just said "So because I chose to vote for him I know recognize him as my savior? Is it possible for me or anyone else for that matter to actually just think of him as a guy who was voted president?"

I was then given this odd explanation of how some people (including myself) understand. The others are sheep who think he will fix all the worlds problems. I just guess I was hoping for a better explanation...Oh well.:boggled:
