Thermitic Pyrotechnics in the WTC Made Simple

He should, but here is why it would not get published...because his findings about the Harrit paper would have to include mention of the Harrit paper, and mentioning the Harrit paper in any "mainstream" publication is not to be allowed.

If that were to happen it would spread the Harrit paper much more quickly to the world and open more eyes much more quickly. Anyone ever wonder why the "experts" here on JREF said they would not even attempt to publish anything debunking Harrit? Well there you have it.

Is that the same reason that scientists aren't writing peer-reviewed refutations of the claims made by the Flat-earth society?

Nothing put them out.

Office contents burn more slowly than thermite. I welcome you to take 1lb of thermite and 1lb of paper, plastic, etc and compare the time each takes to burn.

you think the office contents burned underground for 14 weeks? Where did the oxygen come from to fuel the fires?

Why would that be a part of the building codes?

You would have to check the legislative minutes for the meetings when the codes were approved.

Personally, I think it is excessive government regulation.

That's true!!! I never thought of that!!!

I forgot that they hermetically sealed the crime scene!!!!

Explain how fires at the top burrowed underground and stayed lit for 14 weeks.

Initially, it was anticipated that the fires would cease burning within the first few weeks of the disaster. Unfortunately, they continued to burn at the site, contributing to prolonged, intermittent releases of smoke into the air. In most situations, fires in buildings can be put out quickly.

In the case of the WTC, the fires burned below the surface and were fed by large quantities of combustible materials like carpeting, furniture, computers, and other building materials. As steel and rubble are removed and the pile shifts, oxygen is added to the hot embers and the fires can be revived. As a consequence, smoke continued to be released intermittently.

Couldn't be from the subway tunnel. Nah. Where do the coal fires get their oxygen?

Wow, you have no basic understanding of physics AT ALL. When heated, steel expands and softens, eventually losing its structural integrity.

That is not a peer reviewed scientific analysis. That is a statement issued by bureaucrats. Nor is the author of the statement identified. Nor are the credentials of the author identified or any reason given why they would be knowlegable about the fires.

The paper says it comes from the department of health and mental hygiene, lol.

The article doesn't mention the thermite found in the WTC rubble either, which is a much better explanantion.

Most of the material of the WTC, the steel and concrete is not flammable. Even a good portion of the office contents are not flammable due to fire codes.

Carpeting buried underground does not stay on fire for 14 weeks.

Coal fires have oxygen intentionally fueled into them.

Also, if someone is trying to keep a coal fire burning, they don't dump enough water into it to fill a small lake.

OH my heavens! You don't know what you are talking about. This post is practically stundie material! Even a good portion of the office contents are not flammable due to fire codes? You're kidding, right?

Why is it that you believe every word by discredited people like Jones but every time somebody gives you ANY information by somebody who disagrees with you, you reject it?

Wow, you have no basic understanding of physics AT ALL. When heated, steel expands and softens, eventually losing its structural integrity.

Testing done on the 236 steel beams salvaged from the WTC shows that most were not heated at all, and none were heated enough to lose any structural integrity.

so Centralia, PA has oxygen intentionally fueled to it?

why did they evacuate and rebuild the whole town if they could have just dumped water on it?

There was no thermite found in the WTC rubble. You can keep saying it, but it doesn't make it so.

I'll add fire science to the list of subjects you know nothing about. Have you ever fought a fire? No, either have I, but I know many FDNY members who fought the fires in the pile in the weeks after 9/11. None have ever reported anything suspicious in those fires.

Why are you saying that experienced, professional firefighters are wrong? Many, like my brother-in-law have degrees from CUNY/John Jay College in Fire Science, Fire and Emergency Service or Forensic Science. They know more that you or Hoffman.

another JREFer said oxygen is pumped into coal fires.

Personally, I don't really care what they do at coal mines, it has nothing to do with this thread.

The issue is why fireproofing is require on structural steel, not how much steel is damaged in a particular fire.

It says right in the scientific report that thermite was found.

Tell you big-shot brother to write-up a scientific paper and get it peer reviewed. Has your brother studied the WTC dust and tested it for thermite?

If he hasn't, then his opinion means nothing.
