Isn't don't boil your balls in goats' milk?![]()
That's more of a Passover rule.

But people are not always making good choices, why shouldn't Christians speak up about that? I was once blind to certain things being sin like abortion and I went through that too because in my mind before I got saved if it was legal then it should be okay. Well now I know it's not right in God's eyes so I have had a change of mind and heart. (IN essence I have changed sides) NowI know the devastation that comes from being post abortive and it's never something that doesn't damage a person, never! Sorry I know this battle and it is an ugly one. Yes God gave us free will but killing unborn babies is just ugly and we are accountable for it. I was pro-chocie before I got saved, now I am pro-life and involved in the healing process for post abortive women/ and men. Many men do not talk about it but they go through the pain after an abortion too. Do not kid yourself, abortion is very BAD and to have legalized abortions and have government give money to it is horrible.
Then we must deal with why people think it's a good way to do birth control? It's not. I found out after I was just trying to cover up my sin and God made me deal with it and confess so I can be forgiven. Jesus says if we confess our sins he is faithful to forgive us. Boy do I wish more people were like that instead of throwing it back in your face. I have confessed and know Jesus forgives me but now I know what Godly sorrow is. I can never undo the damage sin has caused me but I have a promise from God that he can and does forgive me. Better to confess now than be judged later!
30 vs. 1. I'd guess it's less to do with her ability to answer as simple logistics. Afterall, her inability hasn't prevented her addressing others.I wonder why Kathy doesn't address my comment which was in direct reply to her question when I've posted it several times.
Could it be she has no answer?
No hope of that happening.
No hope of that happening. At least from KK's side.
If Jesus was sinless he could not have been Human so the whole Crucifixion was just a puppet show. Since God can't die and by your own admission Jesus's Human persona was just a facade then no one has died for you and you are still in your sins.
No I only pray to Jesus since he is the only one who we are told in scripture to pray to. Jesus is the only mediator between man and God. If you pray to anyone else your prayers are going nowhere.
I really do love people but I have found more do not like me now that I am a Christian. Is it just because I can't quit talking about Jesus or is it that I have a horrible personality?
Based on the notion of original sin, yes, actually. I do find the "message of Christ's sacrifice on the cross" offensive. Is it the message of Christ’s sacrifice on the cross that you find offensive?

.Sorry I do not know what % may be truly saved Christians, but Jesus did say narrow is the way and few will find it. I do get sad when I realize this and it does appear more humans who were born will not be in heaven. I'm thinking that if God has 2/3rds of the angels who did not rebel then he may save 1/3rd of the human race. At least I hope at least that many can be saved but I am afraid it does not look good. That is why I must speak about Jesus in hopes he may reach some more before it's too late. Everyday we hear of lives being lost and all I can hope is some know Christ. It does matter for eternity but I'll let you decide.
I understand your thinking in humanistic terms as all suffering seems wrong but God has a purpose for everything he allows. I certainly do not like some of what God allows but I attribute much of it that he lets us all reap what we have sown to some capacity. Pharoh was the one who brought that curse on his people. God was just trying to free his people fron the evil egyptians who made tem slaves and since pharoh did not cooperate he was the one responsible. God has the right to choose how he wants to deal with people.

I dunno, I'm not Jewish, but that makes sense to me...
So it's ok to punish millions of innocent Egyptians for something the Pharaoh did? That's on par with shooting American babies for something that Bush did.
How do we know? Matthew and Luke describe differing genealogies. Which one is right and wich one is wrong? One has to be correct; therefore the other has to be incorrect. Which is right, and why?
You do not want the answer to this. You've clearly found a way to cope with this already and it is not by facing the ugly nature of things as they are.
I don't claim to be anything.
As I said before: if justice is important one should not seek to undermine it by avoiding it. Hence if I believed that divine justice is important I would find it more honourable to face it then to avoid it.
Well living by my emotions is the very thing that got me in big trouble and very far away from God. Why pleasing ourselves takes the form of sin is still hard to understand but I agree with God now that if I had continued this way I would be lost forever. Not to mention the wreck I made of my life. Have you ever been in an abusive relationship? I was there because I trusted my emotions and they deceived me. This last guy who is not the man I am married to by the way, was not capable of love or just a very sick person who liked to lie and control women. I had more than enough bad experiences with men to know it was having a relationship the wrong way that caused me greif. Sex outside of marriage is still a no no to God but the times we live in and what Hollywood has put out has had everyone thinking it's perfectly normal to be an adulterer or fornicater. God says it's a sin against our own bodies. It's incredible to me that someone can think being human and having human emotions is sinful.
Religion does not offer forgiveness, but Jesus does..
That's the primary method religions use to get control of the believer. Talk them into shame for being human, and then offer the carrot of forgiveness.
