Why did Ivins kill himself before he was indicted? They say he said he was going to shoot his co-workers if he was indicted. Well, now he can't do that, even if he is indicted, because he's dead.
That means he either didn't say he was going to shoot his co-workers, or he didn't committ suicide.

The explanation for his suicide is that he felt pressured by the FBI (whether this was because he was guilty or innocent is another matter) and couldn't handle it anymore.
Yes, it has been reported that he said he was going to shoot his coworkers if he was indicted. Obviously he can't do it now. This doesn't mean, however, that he never said it or he never committed suicide. People can change their minds. Just because he had intent doesn't mean he was actually going to do something.
