My point about the pyramids is this:

In order to construct a building that could withstand forces many times greater than what it was designed for, you would have to construct something that is useless for any practical purposes. It would have to be a solid, monolithic object with almost no empty space inside -- like the pyramids of Giza.

The most cost-effective way to design a building is not to make it invulnerable to almost any insult, but to make it stay up long enough to get the occupants out before the structure fails.

Building a high-rise office building that can fail from heavy fires, then rebuilding it if such a calamity occurs, is more cost effective than building a fortress that is useless as an office building but would last for thousands of years.

Do you understand now?
 
Have you bought any thermite yet DC? Surely, you are much smarter than the rest of the truthers and have figured out how to cut a column with thermite. Be the hero they have been waiting for DC!

was you already able to prove that an uncontrolled asymmetric fire can trigger a symmetric collapse of a assymetric damaged buidling?

be the HERO for the OCTers.
 
Controlled Demolitions are all about breaking a structure so it will come down. There is no need to rig out a burning broken building with demolition charges, when fire will take care things. Infact it would be extremely dangerous for anyone to even attempt to try rigging a burning broken building with demolitions charges. As it is at extreme risk of collapsing onto any workers silly enough to go inside it.

Oh and fire + RDX is not a good mix.

I don't think the OP will be answered truthfully by the the person the question was addressed to. It seems every attempt was made by many people but sometimes an untenable position is hard to give up. Pride and ego does that to some people.

I don't know about you, but the top of the tower doesn't exactly look like it's falling all that symmetrically to me. Maybe it's the whole leaning thing. Am I wrong?

It wasn't as symmetric as you make it out to be.

Others have pointed out the damage it did to buildings to the North and West and East of it.

Here is a picture showing much of the debris lying completely across the street to the South of it and on top of WTC 3.

This was some of the first debris removed so its not in many other clean up shots.

Wow. That fell in a southerly direction. Toward the same side that suffered damage from the north tower. I wonder why it fell that way? Any ideas?
