Silverstein didn't say "A fire department Chief" or "Chief Nigro". He said he spoke to a Fire Department "COMMANDER". There were many COMMANDERS on site that day. You can be a deputy Chief and a division commander. Why is everyone buying this straw man? Silverstien must have takled to a commander which is not Nigro. He may not have even been a chief.

Silverstein might indeed be a fool, but the collapse of WTC 7 was not suspicious at all. It was widely reported on the news throughout the day that it was shortly going to collapse. When it actually did collapse no one was susprised. Those who find it suspicious weren't in NYC that day and/or were too young to remember what actually happened.

We should start a new thread but, what's so suspicious about a badly damaged building on fire all afternoon collapsing? The only argument on this subject that the TM has ever proposed is it's never happened before.

I was 37 years old on September 11, 2001 and witnessed the collapse of the North Tower with my own eyes. Went home and spent the rest of the day watching TV (and looking out the window). The immient collapse of WTC 7 was widely reported all day. My brother-in-law, a 20 year FDNY vet, was on the scene, said there was nothing suspicious about the collapse.

Now it's 2008, I'm 43 years old, still in NYC and have never met anyone who thinks WTC 7 was a CD. And yes, I get out a lot.

The NYC truth organization, by it's own admission, only gets about 17 members to it's monthly meeting.
