The idea of becoming a member of a discussion board, to discuss the evidence for Bigfoot.......and then OBJECTING to the "idea of drawing lines on what may well be a suit".....is beyond strange....it's outright idiotic, LTC.

Sure, the PG film may be a hoax.....but it also may show a real Bigfoot.

The whole purpose for this thread, and for Bigfoot forums, is to analyse the evidence....which includes the Patterson film....to try to determine what the most likely explanation is for all the evidence.

This analysis can, at times, involve drawing lines.
If this makes your stomach turn....then why do you continue to post here???

You need to stop referring to the ' width ' of Patty's chest until you show how such a measurement was obtained ..

Actually, if you see an error in my outlining....then you need to show where the error is.

I'll refer to Patty's chest width whenever I feel like it.

Why do you use Vision Realm as a source then ignore their conclusions - that Patty was 5' 7" ?

I used their skeleton because it was generated using computer software designed for that purpose.

What height measurement they gave it is irrelevant...because the skeleton was FITTED into Patty's body, very precisely.

If Bob was, in fact, Patty......then Bob's eyes lined-up with Patty's eyes, and Bob's feet lined-up with Patty's feet.
A body height and body width comparison between the two is absolutely appropriate, in an attempt to determine if Bob could reasonably fit within Patty's dimensions...with the resulting realistic, fluid movement we see.

"Houston......we have a problem"... :),

Actually, Bob Heironimus and his "believers" have a problem.

Here are side-by-side comparisons (properly scaled, though not exactly-aligned vertically) of Bob H. and Patty's skeleton, as determined by Vision Realm....

The problem is....Bob H. does not have nearly the chest width that Patty does.
How was Roger able to increase Bob's chest width by the amount needed....with padding....and still have Bob's arms able to hang down straight?

That Roger was a true master of the suit....wasn't he??!

Is it worth mentioning here that the lower ends of the red lines in the top two pictures don't seem to end at the same point on the pelvis? Of course we can't actually see Bob's pelvis, but if the lines actually extended to the tops of his femurs as the right hand set do, he'd have a mighty strange pelvis, wouldn't he? I don't find those lines very persuasive.

OBJECTING to the "idea of drawing lines on what may well be a suit"

I didn't object to drawing the lines, of course, or to discussing lines, of course, but to the assumption that the lines represent facts about Patty.

See this line that shows Patty's arm length? Patty's arm is too long to be human. Now how do you explain Patty's inhuman arm?

Circle jerk.

It's just part of the endless attempt to get skeptics to accept facts that don't actually exist. It's a continuous attempt to shove disputed items down our throats as facts, and to railroad us right past being able to question things.

Jeopardy

The question of analysis methodology comes up immediately in these discussions. Suddenly everyone is forced to stop discussing the evidence itself and focus on the analyst instead. Sometimes you see situations where the wrong tools are brought to the job. This leads to "Why did you choose to use that tool?"

==========
Wrong.
My hair is often pulled back and upswept into a top knot...it also cascades into a ponytail when long enough ...if I comb it that way..... I am not Indian...

There are scenes where Patty is walking away and we can see her back. She doesn't have anything like a ponytail.

Are you lost Sweaty ?

This isn't the MABRC, where you can draw arbitrary lines wherever you want, and say

" There ! See how it fits (......... or doesn't ) ? "

... and have everyone go ga ga ...

But you know that ..

I understand though, how a 5' 7" Patty solves a lot of problems for you, since BH is over 6' ...

Yes she does!
...and there are other accounts of similar hair arrangements in females, one I personally have knowledge of in Arizona. Some of the hair is quite dramatic in arrangement. Clearly Patty's hair cascades down the back of her neck onto the right top of her shoulder.

You would have to see the enhancements M.K.Davis did of the hair specifically, there are sequences where the hair actually swings alittle and the top knot moves from the weight of her hair......some parts may even be plaited or braided where pulled up.

I would post those if it was allowed.

Oh boy. Here comes 10 pages on MK Davis shenanigans. He strips away color layers and begins to see all sorts of bizarre things. But he wasn't the first to do this. I think Beckjord was first to take color-stripped PGF stills and proclaim they reveal fantastic stuff. He found a Coke bottle hanging from the right bicep, a tampon string, vulva, at least one clinging baby, a "false" baboon face attached to the side of the head, etc.

I think I want to start calling this method of removing color layers, and the resulting analysis "Peyote Vision". Peyote Vision presents you with grainy chaos. But at least three people have called on their inner shaman to tell us what they see. These people get visions. If you see a hair braid with bone clasp you feel some obligation to share it with the world. It reveals itself in one single frame (no more) of Peyote Vision. Davis caught it.

Here's an image from "the other NASI" (National Assoc. of Stupid Incompetents)

I find it compelling. I tried my best to stand in the shadow of the creature and perfectly align the edge of the sidewalk. According to the other NASI the yardstick in my hand reveals the creature to be at least 7 ft. 6 in. tall.

The fluid motion of the massive creature, as well as the masses of muscle that can clearly be seen moving beneath its skin, demonstrates to me that this cannot be any man in a suit.

Another amazing anomoly that is rarely considered is the "second roll" footage from Patterson. We see him pose with his newly made casts. Must have taken some time to dry, but that's not what interested me.

No... I'm impressed by the fact that Roger got plaster on his seam and it vanished after he made his casts. He also seemed to be able to grow a beard in rapid time. It's almost as if it were shot at two different times.

I was concerned that the mere fact he was able to film Patty between 1:30 pm and 2 pm, capture his horses, make casts, and then get out of the forest to make phone calls and drive all the way to Eureka, Ca. (and back) ... MIGHT hint at some sort of hoax. Yet I failed to take into account the interdeminsional influence of Patty.

This requires further examination. Kaku demands it!

Where is the ear?

The headpiece may have been made without ears. It's all fur where the ears are supposed to be. If this is a real Bigfoot, we can say that their ears can be completely hidden by fur. Good for keeping the dirt out, eh?

Dfoot, if your headpiece has ears you better hide them if you want to replicate Patty. You are certain that Patty's head was made in Hollywood. Would you now say that they went ahead without the ears showing (maybe no ears at all)?

The eye socket and brow ridge are quite extraordinary in this still. The eyeball looks like an olive sitting in a salad bowl. The mandible and chin area seem to be drooping downwards like it is melting. I'm reminded of the Star Wars bar room scene. The top of the head has totally deformed. As if the brain is going to pop out like a zit.

Peyote Vision.

Does she do teh Twist?

What color does she favor for eye enhancement?

Sadly, this is ignored by many proponents, who love to snicker over the idea of Winston firing Baker for making a costume that's "inferior" to Patty.
Yes - this is an interesting aside I've recently become aware of. I was lately 'treated' to a picture of 'Baker's'* King Kong which presumably (as I am interested in movie creatures, and factor this into my scepticism of the PG film) was supposed to be some sort of jibe or even insult from a 'usual suspect' (*who had failed to do their homework - despite me trying to help with it some time back ).

Is there some sort of perceived threat posed to (some) rabid proponents by successful make-up artists who specialise in this sort of stuff? Do they fear deep down these are the people who might shatter their dream?

Thanks for the link to the top 20 monster suits BTW - loved it.
