Bigfoot - The Patterson-Gimlin Film

Why is Roger claiming that Patty stopped and looked back at him while he was filming her? He is clearly claiming she stopped and even giving a reason for it that is actually plausible.

Because he can't remember the differences between the screenplay as he wrote it, and what really ended up on`60 seconds of film ..

GT/CS.....Can you point out the "wrist bands" in this high-quality Cibachrome image?...

I'd have more to say about them, if they actually showed-up in this high-quality image....but, as it is....I don't see them.

Feel free to re-post that lower-quality image, though.....if it makes you happy.

Here you go, and if I remember correctly didn't you post these pictures to try to prove bending fingers?

Wrist bands are in the eye of the beholder, only. Look at the size of those thighs. Somebody has been working out, perhaps to get rid of a little cellulite and junk in the trunk, and it isn't Bob Heironious. Just imagine that package, hitting 30 mph, in hot pursuit of a skeptic with an internet connection, and an attitude.

Man, she was running just like you and I do!

But Bob Gimlin said she wasn't running...

As for the issue of Patty's thigh size, they don't seem all that impressive when compared to the thighs on Godzilla costumes. Even when the thighs were slimmed down to allow better movement for the most recent Godzilla movie, they're still impressively large. And look how fast a man in a Godzilla suit can move (about 15 seconds into the video)!

And since I'm linking to footage of Japanese monster costumes, check out the lips on the blond-haired gorilla (Dr. Gori) about 1:12 into the video.

Bigfeet, being paranormal interdimensional "invisiable" aliens can use their telepathic skills to change the perceptions of humans. Patterson and Gimlim disagree on her pace but the footage shows Patty walking, and since cameras can not be influentiated by telepathy, we must trust on the film. Patty saw Patterson holding something (the camera, but it could be a gun) and trying to catch up with her, while Gimlim was behind. Patterson was the main threat, the main disturbance. She focused her telepathic powers on Paterson and gave him a false speed evaluation. He would miss any shot. By the way, that's why bigfeet can not be harmed by bullets. Gimlim was not affected by this phenomena.

BEAT THIS YOU SKEPTICS!!!! I WON THIS THREAD!11!!

NO!
Dr. GORI WAS NOT A MONSTER!!!
He was just a brilliant alien scientist, slightly mad with desires of conquest, that happened to be an ape (and possibly gay). Does this make him a monster? Why do you hate America alien ape mad scientists?

I am questioning a few things.

1. Regarding the running, they say Patty wasn't scared, just walking along, then why did it run when it got to the woods?

2. In the recent Monsterquest Bigfoot Babes episode, Bob Gimlin says something like, I was behind the bigfoot, to the left of the camera shot, and when she looked back, it was right when I had jumped across the creek. And then later he says, I could see her face and everything. But how could he see her face if he was behind her?

3. Doesn't that Youtube video look like it is sped up? It's like it was shot at 16fps but played back at 24 Fps or something.

Here's a quickie answer to this question being posed regarding what's being seen around the wrists, etc.

There was a technique used sometimes that involved attaching hair to either skin (as in this Morlock on the left) with bands or by gluing or another method to a latex or fabric suit. This is similar to what we see with Patty.

The photo on the right is simply the Gorn with Patty's hair on the arm.

When Janos Prohaska spoke on camera on behalf of the Ron Olson/Patterson flick he mention the hair would be "glued on" and that it should take about ten hours to do. I found that an amusing thing for him to say. It's like Paul Freeman holding up a Bigfoot print with his own fingerprint next to it in a photo.

Gluing hair was usually done on the face or hands - not the entire body. Yet this did happen when Wah and the PROJECT UNLIMITED guys did TIME MACHINE.

The glue method accounts for the odd "shorts" look that Patty has. I found that when hair is glued on the hip area the hand tends to brush it away as you walk. The edges tend to hold more hair. This is exactly what we see happen with Patty where someone attempted to create the sparse hair look by gluing bits on we get those lines.

kitakaze - Don't worry. The mask with the moving jaw was typical. Nothing complex at all. It would appear to Bob H. that he was putting on a soft old time football helmet with a chin strap. That's how it works. I can show you later the jawline moving. All professional ape heads worked this way since the 30's.

historian - I don't know what you mean. The Gorn body can't be found. The head, hands and feet have been well cared for. I'm merely wondering what became of the top and bottom as it could easily be made into Patty with some padding and fur. Plus, since I've found a couple of those early 60's masks still around I hold out hope that some Patty parts might be around too. Though I doubt it.

However, I feel I can come pretty close to demonstrating everything from the footprints to the suit itself on film.

I once showed a group of people a photo of Patty flipped and composited in front of my house to test their objectivity. They claimed it wasn't nearly as realistic as Patty - even though it actually was a frame from the PG film itself. Amazing scientific objectivity there. This is why the film will never die. And also why I know L. Ron will one day return with giant aliens to rid me of Thetans.

Patterson wanted more hair sparness in some areas and he got it using the glue technique mentioned by Janos.

Above is the type of jaw movement seen in the PG film. Chambers usually did the more complex make-up and not the pullover helmet stuff. Here he makes a little kid into Dr. Smith for Lost In Space. Janos did the sillier suits.

Look close at the line on the ape suit from the 30's that appears to be an upside down "V". The pants go on first and then the upper section slides over. You can see this plainly on Patty. The foam bits glued together over pants are ready for latex here. Once finished it'll be a "Predator" type creature.

And the bottom photo is similar to what Bob H. would have seen while putting on Patty's head. They all differ, but the workings are the same. He only saw it twice 40 years ago, but what he says is accurate.

Thanks correa,

I expected those answers, with the intention of making fun of them, but I'm getting bored with the whole BF thing. I suppose if it makes people happy to believe, what the hell. They can base their beliefs on old film footage taken by a known hoaxer, footprints known to be forged, and their own experience which was inconclusive because no actual, quality image was taken if they want to.

I have yet to see ANY actual proof of BF that can't be readily disputed. We have dinasaur bones from a creature which became extinct a LONG, LONG time ago, but no BF bones. BF is supposed to still exist, which means they are have lifespans of hundreds of years (Longer than any other known homo) or they are still breeding to this day. If they are still breeding, there should be many more than ONE walking around, which means there should be evidence like bones, poop, hair, whatever. That also means patty should not have been alone, since he was a she. Why didn't the male attack? Oh yeah, they're shy.

There's always an excuse.

We don't have to make excuses for any other creature extinct or alive because there is REAL evidence.

How frustrating!

Hey - you will understand that NO bigfooter has ever claimed that there is 100% indisputable evidence for a flesh and blood BF creature.

You cannot discredit what was never claimed.

People = get real -- a guy like Chambers works for MONEY, and P&G never had
even a pot to **** in.

SNORT!

Monstro:mad:

Also, get this --- the track DEPTH was huge compared to Gimlin or later, Titmus.

Possibly 2000 lbs or more -- using physics formulas, and comparing with Gimlin's jump-down
test.

Nobody in no suit could make no tracks that deep no how no way Jose.

Plus STRIDE FROM TRACK TO TRACK ---- MAN CANNOT DO IT. NOT FER LONG.

You try it -- 41 inches.Over and over and over...

Back to the drawing board, guys. Read your basic data.

THIS SHOOTS DOWN ALL OF YEW. Pack it in and go attack Nessie.
