In that case can we use them to make generalisations about what Americans are like?
You are welcome to try. Won't getcha far, with this crowd of JREF'ers.
After all, in this thread mycroft says "What these pictures show are the extreme lengths Reuters and other news organizations will go to peddle the Palestinians as something other than what they are."
The people in the OP pictures are not peace-seekers. They are not interested in the very concept of peace with Israel.
The people in those pictures are riotous, murderous, islamic jihadists.
"The palestinians" have failed, completely and totally, to achieve their independence because they apparently cannot do so without the Israeli 'boogey man" to focus on. The palestinians are incapable of electing (or even running for election) leaders whose aim is to cooperate with the Israelis, whose aim is to form a strong and beneficial multi-national union, whose aim is to disarm the murderers and reject the terrorists and take a clear stand against men like Sami Kuntar.
I bring up Sami Kuntar, and davefoc says
Ah-HA! Baruch Goldstein.
Well, if you cannot see the difference, davefoc, then I cannot help you.
What are these palestinians parading in the streets for? For unity in arms & for the goal of war against Israel. Their chants -- "Death to Israel" and "Kill the Jews" is heard everywhere. It is a ritual of their imams to preach it in the mosques. It is a ritual of their spokesmen to proclaim it at every news conference. It is a ritual of their rally organizers to broadcast it over loudspeakers to the masses gathered in the public sqaures.
That is what the palestinians "are" -- there is no denying it.
They are trapped by their collective hatred of the Israelis.
Where is the Palestinian's Folk Music Festival? Where is their Menahem and Yehudit Vinegrad?
