Telekenisis Kid:

Tell me, who is the top telekenetic person on Earth? Now tell me why you don't know who he is?

We know who the best golfer on Earth is. Why? Because he demonstrates what he can do on a daily basis. He is spectacularly wealthy and famous. Don't you think the BEST telekenitic would acheive at least some degree of fame, and be able to do things that magicians can't?

If you, after only a few weeks, are improving so dramatically - why don't we see spectacular results from someone who has been practicing for a number of years?

Maybe the reason is that no matter how much you practice, it really is just air currents in a room causing the paper to move.

Sorry you didn't see the clip steenkh, but I had no idea that there were so many others like it. Compared to the rest, this clip was very insignificant so I deleted it.

The only problem with this ability is:

stress = less control

Control is a big problem and doesn't work well always. But I have had my good moments. There were multiple times when I stopped the paper on a dime. But it never works the same all the time. Sometimes it doesn't move at all. Sometimes I even have trouble keeping it on the pin. I have actually been diagnosed to have a stress disorder, located in the thyroid so I think this may be why it's so hard. It all depends on mood and how I'm feeling that particular day. Some people may think I'm crazy but I can definitly distinguish between the possible and impossible. I think your right about the psi wheel at 45 degrees. I suspected that could have happened. Therefore, it doesn't prove anything.

Well just put it this way. Some people don't like the media and the government, including me. I don't wan't to be some ginny pig in a lab and neither do they. If the government found out that there where people around the world doing this stuff, don't you think they would want to experiment on them or even kill them because they might be a danger to society? Tiger woods doesn't have to worry because he is obeying the laws of physics.

Yes it does, it proves that the thing moves even if you are not trying to move it. All of your descriptions above that quote sound like exactly how you would expect something random to behave.

Try rolling a die 15 times and guessing the roll. Wow, sometimes you will be right, sometimes you will be wrong! Do it a number of times, and you will hit streaks where it appears you are getting better with practice. Then you will hit streaks where you do worse - and maybe you attribute the cold streak to your stress disorder. Calm down a bit, and you do better again! But, was it because you calmed down, or just another random streak that occurrs naturally when you do things like this.

My point is, with anything remotely random, you are going to have streaks that appear non-random IF VIEWED SEPERATELY (heck, guess and roll long enough, and eventually you may get 15 out of 15).

As a final point, there has been absolutely nothing that you have told us that would require any kind of powers ot acheive. You are simply watching a piece of paper move on a head of a pin, and sometimes it happens to move when you are thinking about it.
 
Set up 3 of your pinwheels in a row. Put them under clear covers. Make sure they are all still. Announce which one you are going to move. Move only that one with your mind.

I think you will find you have severe "control" problems with your powers. Instead of realizing that psi doesn't work, you'll rationalize that the z-waves from your mind are bouncing off the pinwheels and accidentally hitting each other. Yeah, that must be it.

Don't you think becoming famous and revealing yourself to the media would be a great defense to this? A little hard for the government to whisk you away and lock you in a lab if you are in the public spotlight.

That is patently ridiculous.

Not one person with telekinetic abilities have escaped the government? Not one person with telekinetic abilities is willing to appear in the media?

How can all these people just disappear?

Think about it: If the government rounds up all telekinetic people, don't you think they would monitor this forum for people who claim to be able to do it?

How can you possibly walk free? Why are you not already a "ginny pig in a lab"?

That could be true, but I have my parents to fall back on. They have seen it and they are perfectly sane. I have successfully demonstrated twice to my family that I can knock the paper off the needle a few weeks ago. If I was going insane, they would have told me.

I am not a guinny pig because nobody knows who I am! You don't know where I live and never will. I bet there are individuals that are potentially telekinetic reading this thread right now and getting turned off of the whole thing. I don't blame them.

If he fails, then there is no loss or gain, but if he succeeds (which I doubt), he will be one million dollars richer.

Yup. The multiple pinwheel test. It's a killer. Those mind-waves just don't cooperate sometimes, do they?

And, heck, don't worry about being discovered by the government - cuz it's too late - we have already tracked you and gotten a fix on your location. You see, Randi works with the Feds. The Million Dollar Challenge is a "cover story" for the US Government's top secret mutant program. We in this forum help find people with super powers and identify if they are real, or if they are faking. You might have to go to a training facility for a week or two, but you'll be with other mutants (or "muties" as we call them) until you can hone your skills. Then you'll be given an assignment and a cool costume.

the bottom bowl looks like its plastic and its base has what looks like raised lettering on the bottom which would allow a gap between the glass and the bowl.

I am very dubious of any telekenetic display that requires a set up. Especially one that is very supceptable to air currents.

Why can't they just move the piece of paper lying on a table?
The set up reminds me of something from a childrens magik book.

Don't give up - and don't paint with such a broad brush. This is a public forum full of different people - some are bound to rub you the wrong way and some are bound to be jerks. Many people have been freindly and offered great advice. If you really don't like how someone is treating you, you can put them on ignore and not even have to read their posts at all. You also seem to pull out the 'your being mean' card the minute a good critique that may get us to the truth appears.

Also, don't confuse criticism of your claimed ability with a personal criticism. If someone told you they would sell you a brand new Mercedes for $10 - wouldn't you want to see the car, and make sure it works? Would you asking to see the car and verify the claim be unfreindly, or is it just good skepticism. Why should we treat your claim any differently?

No I'm not tired of you or CLD, I'm just tired of the questions. This thread has gone to far. I must say, no one has made a statement to change my mind so I have given up hope. I will continue to develope this ability only to satisfy myself. I suspect in the future, telekinesis will be part of everyday life. Mabye then, you all will see the truth.
